fills in any nooks and crannys, foundation stays smooth and little natural shine. best stuff I've ever used, unfortunately its about 50$ for a small bottle :/

ok i don't know a face primer as such but i do know a face mist it's what you spray on after you've applied the makeup it's from the body shop it's really good and does keep your makeup on all day, well for me anyway.

I swear by gosh velvet touch primer. Around 拢13 from superdrug. I also own the mac one; but it caused my face to break out and it was shiny. Might work better on you though. :)
