Hi. I have been using the same makeup for the past 5 years and its just amazing. Dermablend. Its made by Dermatologisits. I have acne scars and some acne... and it covers them. It covers anything from Acne, Acne scars, Under eye circle, tattoos, Scars, Birthmarks, Varicose Veins, Stretchmarks, ect.... If you take a look at the before and after pictures on the website, it will just blow you away. Its quite remarkable. Its alittle pricey ($30), but it lasts 3 times longer than any other makeup, its last 16 hours and its waterproof. One thing usually lasts me 3-4 months, and that's a long time. Anyway, I hope ive helped. Take Care!

Ben Nye has an amazing set of concealers. For the latest film I worked on, I had to cover a tattoo on the forearm, and this stuff lasted even through all the water scenes (and there were a lotttt). I believe there is one called ';Tattoo cover'; that comes in two different shades, and another concealer with a green base. I applied the green first, the other on top, blended and powdered over the top to set it. That stuff is like paste, so you KNOW it's covering well. Ben Nye is a theatrical based makeup line -- it's efficient in purpose and is a ton of fun. Hope it works for ya.
Dermablend is good but there is another called Exuviance that comes in a pot that COVERS everything! Spend some time in Sephora, Beauty Brands or Ulta with someone who knows what they are doing.

The Exuviance is one I use to cover a lot of discolouration %26amp; marks. It works really well. If you can't find the exact match, you may have to blend 2 shades. Remember, don't go too light because then you are highlighting what you are trying to conceal.

Have you also tried mederma? This helps to lighten the pigment that is part of the scar.

Good luck!
Have you try any skincare line that provide a fluid for wrinkle fillers? That can fill the missing skin of the scar and you can apply your makeup to have a smoother service. I know a really good website if you want that provide free shipping worldwide and no custom fee.
For industrial-strength coverage, I agree with both of those who answered. Dermablend is used to disguise even the most damaged skin and is long-lasting.
Dermablend will cover ANYTHING.
what you need is bare minerals...
