Natural beautiful make-up for oily face?

I use MAC foundation and I love it because it covers my blemishes. But the only thing I don't like about it, is that I have oily face, so if I keep MAC on for too long, it makes very oily on my face and everybody can tell I have make-up on.

I just want a make-up that is healthy for the skin and looks natural on the skin. A make-up that won't make my face oily. So, if you know which make-up I can use or which product makes my skin look naturally healthy beautiful, let me know.Natural beautiful make-up for oily face?
I.D. Bare Minerals!! it's the bestNatural beautiful make-up for oily face?
bare minerals or even see if mac has a powder finish makeup.
have you tried bare minerals?? they are the best, they look totally natural, they're good for oily skin, and they clear blemishes. you should get the loose powder. it runs about 30-40$$ at your local beauty supply.
Bare Minerials, bare minerials, bare minerials!!!!! They actually make your skin better. You can even wear it to bed.
Bare Minerals changed my life! I have totally sensitive, combination skin and whether i'm day to day or on camera... i think my skin looks the best it can be... and natural too!

Go to the mall, they'll give u a makeover and find the colors perfect 4 u. sounds expensive to start, but they last a long time. a really long time... i'd invest in their brushes too.

How can one make there face look skinnier using make up?

ok i dont have a fat face but i have more of a broad face with big cheek bones how can i make my face look not so broad and make my face look thinner using make up i always were alot of make up on my eyes sorta like the egyptian look, i get comments saying i look like alicia keys but alot of people have said i also look like amy winehouse, i guess i want to look prettier...please helpHow can one make there face look skinnier using make up?
Using a powder brush and loose powder one shade darker than your skin tone, apply it down at your jaw line lightly. This gives an illusion of a slimmer face.

For a smaller nose, same concept but with a smaller brush (eye shadow brush is fine), apply the shadow lightly on the sides on the nose. How can one make there face look skinnier using make up?
I would suggest contouring your face. It is not easy but it is done in every fashion show and photo shoots around the world. Check out the link below for step by step directions on how to apply it and where.

http://www.ehow.com/how_2217027_highligh鈥?/a>
Buy a foundation stick (or a contour powder) that's a few shades darker than your natural skin tone. Apply it just below your cheek bones making sure to really blend it out to make it look natural
I would highlight my cheek bones with a shade slightly darker than your skin color. A light lip gloss, like a peach, would look make it look skinnier, and a bronze eyeshadow would also help. I hope this helps!
well there are a bunch of really good tutuorials on youtube that tell you exactly how to do this. i really liked xxxSaturnIcexxx (i think thats her user name) anyway she made a really nice video.
go to cover girl .com and get on their live chat with an expert beauty adviser they are really helpful..

Do you *men* like a girl that is natural (no make-up) or a little bit or make-up or full on face with lots on?

Which do you prefer?

Anyone can answer :)

Also, do you like females with the whole fake look going on? Or just what God gave us?Do you *men* like a girl that is natural (no make-up) or a little bit or make-up or full on face with lots on?
If she needs a lot of make up she's cover something up. Give me that natural girl with just a little bit.Do you *men* like a girl that is natural (no make-up) or a little bit or make-up or full on face with lots on?
This depends. When you first meet a new person it would be good to go to Make Up to Enhance your beauty. Cleanliness is next to Godliness

and also a sexy outfit now and then don't hurt.

Make up like lipstick and fingernail Polish and on the toes too is a given

a nice smelling (light) perfume but nothing overpowering

after the guy gets to know you then you can go sans make up and see

what he thinks of you with or without make up

too heavy on the makeup is ok for older women but for a young women

she should use her God given talents
Either the natural look or a little make up to enhance. Lots of makeup makes a woman look barely human. In the same way I find that a woman looks her best with her real hair colour, since it generally looks best with her skin tone and eye colour. Too much makeup looks cheap and is a real turn off.
umm it depends on how u think of your self. i say there days for natural beutie and outhers when we all need a little help.

and the ';fake look'; is for you. if you dont like your self and you wanna be something that you not then thats you bussiness no one has the right to juge you.

its your word that counts.

all men are diffrent so theres no way to tell
i find most people prefer the more natural look although i do love to cake it on when im having a night out, i hope i dont look to fake/drag queeny as i hate that look on other girls
search bar... search bar...

answer is obvious anyway... little bit of make up because it makes a girl look groomed and guys like girls who take pride in their appearance, not lazy ones who don't embrace their femininity. Too much is as bad as too little and less is more.
Men like girls with little make-up on, they like it so it looks natural but it makes the girl feel more confident.

I hate the fake look, it actually knocks me sick!
Most men will say the natural look, but most don't even know. If you apply make up right, it wont look too obvious you are wearing it, just enhance your features
I think men like natural women, but I think its ok to wear a little make-up, just not too much.

too much make up + woman = tramp

very little make up or none + woman = sexy
I like a natural women... but on special occasions I do like my girl to gussy herself up... But just a little bit not over board... some girls wear way too much they look like hookers...
i wear make up cause i'm too self conscious not to but my boyfriend loves the natural thing.
I don't mind a little bit of makeup, but no makeup is the best^^

Put your pic up.
To the first answer. Of course it rhymes! Your using the same word.
they should look like a whore with an inch of make up
no make up ...

Wow they rhyme !!!

I think i'm ugly, my mom doesnt let me buy products for my face (like make-up) and NO acne products work?!

You're not ugly at all. You're really beautiful. You're a teenager and we all get acne. It will go away, trust me. You're so naturally pretty, so you don't need a lot of make up. Just calmly tell your mother that you think you're old enough to wear makeup. I'm sure you're mom will understand. If you think that the acne is a real problem, then tell her that these products will boost your confidence because you won't be self conscious about it if it's gone. Good luck. I went through the same thing a couple of years ago.I think i'm ugly, my mom doesnt let me buy products for my face (like make-up) and NO acne products work?!
You are not ugly at all ^_^ And make up can sometimes worsen skin problems (it is covering the face not repairing it). I recommend trying the Proactiv cleansing system. I've seen it work on my friends with bad acne problems and it does a good job. Good luck!
your not ugly at all ur quite nice

stop eating sugar or drink pop

use tea tree products like the one use for aromatherapy

don't pick your acne either

if you are in US go tried to talk to pharmist at Rite-Aid what's best for you if you in Canada go to Shoppers Drug Mart and ask for the cosmetic counter lady!
you're not ugly at all. you're very pretty

and this is a stage we all go through. hydrate your skin by drinking water throughout the day and find one acne product and give it about 6 months to see the full effect. be patient, it'll happen.
you remind me of myself

stop eating sugar
You are no where near ugly. Makeup can actually agravate acne. Your acne is not as severe as you perceive it. If no over the counter skin products seem to help, ask your mother if she might make an appointment for you with a dermatologist. There are millions of other teens in the same boat you are in.
you're just in puberty, take great care of your skin and it will clear. Find a tinted moisturizer at the supermarket and tell your mom it's a normal lotion. but she is right, the more make up you put on your skin, the worse it will get. btw, you're pretty :)
everyone goes through the pimple stage and make up trust me will make it wrose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥? just wash your face everyone morning with netrogina or clearinsol and stop eating candy, soda, cheaps and junk because they help the pimple grow. also they go away in time and don't pop them or you'll be left with horrible scars
I see what you mean. Do not yell at your mom like someone said. It would be wise to stop eating sugar though. Have you tried proactive? If not try it! it is alot better then whatever else you tried.
no you are really pretty, and your eyes are gorgeous.

you dont have acne too terribly compared to others, and you dont need eye makeup.

:]
omg!!! i dont think u are ugly AT ALL, ur cute and pretty... i have bad acne too but just since i started using baking soda as a face scrub my face has been cleaner, brighter and my acne is going away slowly.by the way ur eyes are GORGEOUS!!!!!
YELL AT UR MOM!!!
Hey,

I think you are beautiful. Bad skin does not make someone necessarily ugly. You are probably going through the ';pimple'; stage as some people said. Just don't pick at them, it will pass. Everytime you touch your pimples and you pick them and then touch another part of your face it makes that part break out too (potentially).

Cleanse your face morning and night (with a gentle cleanser like an aveeno one) and moisturize it, if you don't moisturize it, it will just make your skin glands produce more oil everytime you cleanse... which can make you break out.

Do not touch your face, ever. I know it sounds impossible but make a conscious effort for a while and it will become a habit after that while.

ps. Do not use proactive. It is true, it will make your acne go away but it will make your skin very dry. It is one of those products that once you start you cannot stop, if you do you break out again.

Some people may choose it anyway.

But since you are still young, it is very likely that the cause of your pimples is just, pretty much your age, which will pass. So you wouldn't want to slave yourself to some product.
Mix lemon juice, rose water and glycerin in equal quantities. Apply daily before retiring to bed. Eat a lot of green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, beans, peas, lettuce, etc. A salad and fruit should be taken daily. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

What is the nice make up for oil face?

please guys help me for this i need a nice make up for my face. What is the nice make up for oil face?
Hi,

Mineral foundation would be the best solution for your oily skin. I highly recommend Bare Escentuals. They are the ones who started mineral makeup. All their foundation, cheek, and eye colors have been crushed to a silky, creamy powder form, but (here's the big secret) they're not actually powders. What they are is 100% pure bare minerals that are free of preservatives, talc, oil, waxes, fragrance, and other harmful chemicals that can irritate skin and cause breakouts. They feel like a cream and buff on like silk, giving skin a natural luminosity without the look or feel of makeup. Women with sunspots, acne, rosacea, and excessively dry, oily, or sensitive complexions claim bare minerals improves the overall health and appearance of their skin. The silky formulas also contain natural sunscreens that protect your skin, so much so that bare minerals SPF 15 Foundation actually has the Skin Cancer Foundation seal of recommendation. Now that's what I call full coverage.

Here is a link where you can find your shade and learn more about BE!

http://sephora.com/brands/bare-escentual…

Also, use oil-free foundation if mineral makeup doesn't work for you.

Sephora also has a BE Getting Started Kit. It's a great value! What is the nice make up for oil face?
i have oily skin too, i use mineral powder and MAC's studio fix pressed foundation, but i recently found a liquid foundation by Revlon colorstay in combination/oily,if you dab a little all over your face, then buff it out with a fluffy brush like MAC's 187, it will give you a nice airbrushed looked, and my skin doesn't look oily with it on, i used to never wear liquid but i love this stuff! but you have to make sure you blend and buff it in to keep it looking natural, hope i helped!
If you have oily skin you need to stay away from foundation instead use some powder like rice powder! It helps absorb the oil on your face...

try it out you might like it!
Bare Minerals works the best for me. They have this one powder that specifically soaks up the oil and makes your pores look smaller. Plus you can go to sleep without washing it off and your blemishes will go away!
MINERAL MAKEUP!!!

i have oily skin too and i was at my wits end i use mabeline mineral foundation powder.

it isn't expensive either!!

its amazing!

good luck!
Mineral Foundation!!! It has no oil so it wont make your pimples worse! And makeup isn't that bad if you wash it properly so just get some Clearasil and you will be pimple free! :)
MAC COSMETICS...Studio Fix, it makes your skin feel nice and soft and the powder will make you face less oily
make up is bad if you have oily skin.

  • Do you think make-up looks good on face with pimples?

I got pimples on my face. sometimes i want to wear make-up when i'm on my date. but i don't think i will look good on it.Do you think make-up looks good on face with pimples?
just wear a good base and it will look good!Do you think make-up looks good on face with pimples?
don't try to heavily cover them. try something like a cleanser (found at a drug store) and cleanse your face everyday. start with a foundation and cover your whole face to even out your complexion. then use a concealer to lightly cover up the redness-there is no product that can make a pimple actually dissapear. i used to have pimples on my cheeks, so i avoided blush b/c the redness of my zits were enough. but now that i've used a cleanser and completely remove all makeup when i go to bed, i hardly have any zits.

    hope this helped
    Slightly better.
hmm.. havn't ever gotton that many zits so I don't really know
    ..

well coverup with make them look smaller or not there..

    i dont know?
I have LOTS of pimples!!!!!!!!!! Sister trust me! But I wear mke up all the time! It just matters what makeup you have. Some makeup will look good some makeup will NOT! Hope I helped!
Please, please DON'T wear make up with acne. It looks really bad and it also makes your acne worst. If you just have to have make-up on, may I suggest just some eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, and lip stick.
    yus :)

    a little
no because pimple stick out and when you put make up on it, it will look like a piece of makeup stuck on your face.
yeah, if you cover them up. you should use makeup from a line like neutrogina or clean %26amp; clear because the makeup treats your pimples while your wearing it.
just don't wear too much makeup. be realistic. you aren't going to be able to make it look like you have clear skin, but you can minimize how much your blemishes stand out. I'd recommend a concealer with acne medication in it (like salicylic acid) I think they even have some at target (neutrogena i think?) and then light makeup and make sure it matches your skin tone!
Pimples are easily broken and removed if you apply an ice cube to them. It freezes and reduces their size, even gets rid of them.

Use foundation that is oil free....and =above all keep face clean clean clean always
make up does look good even if you have pimples, do your eyes, your lips and don't wear to much powder or concealer it looks to thick and disgusting ,good luck!!
it makes them less visible i do but i dont get a lot of pimples try proactic if you dont already have it then when you get a pimple if you go out somewhere just put a little concealer on it till you can barely see it
no especially dont wear it when you have pimples you will breakout more.

Is it ok to wear make up after all chicken pox have peeled off my face?

i just pink spots on my face and would like to cover them up with make up so i can go out tonight.. would it be ok to put make up over it?Is it ok to wear make up after all chicken pox have peeled off my face?
Yes you should be fine. M y son recently did this with a little concealer for school. *脺*

Would a moustache make one look as if ones face was up side down?

I have observed this may be true, what do you think?Would a moustache make one look as if ones face was up side down?
wellll...it wouldnt look too bad unless the eyebrows were on the right way - they would have to be upside down too - else...sheesh what a sight!

oh and nice gas mask btwWould a moustache make one look as if ones face was up side down?
Where are the eyes then? lmao:D
Just looks like one has a hairy caterpillar under ones nose.
    Well,

now that i think about it,

    yes,

it would look as a hairy smile.
I have a mustache and my face doesn't look upside down.
    No
Read: Youtubes shoddy april fools day prank.
    haha

i think if one is bold and has a beard/moustache... it could look like it was upside down! :P
Sure, if the person had a up-side-down 'stache going on their chin
Try it on Mr Potato Head first !
have you ever seen a person with a moustache?
    uh...no.
    ..........no.
    I love u.
    lol no a beard maybe!
    no

I have an oily face what kind of make up should i use?

used before i.d bare minerals tends to come off because of my oily face I have an oily face what kind of make up should i use?
Look for the word ';mattfying'; when you're buying a foundation. Make sure it's oil-free, too. Carry around oil-blotting papers to absorb excess oil throughout the day.

I've read that Avon's foundation primer has helped people with oily skin. You can find it on their website for less than $10. Just apply it before your foundation. I have an oily face what kind of make up should i use?
use a make up thats oil free theyre usually a matte finish. Prescriptives oil free matte finish foundation is great.
neutrogena makes makeup and it is actually very good for your face! it gives great coverage and actually fights the pimples at the same time! you can buy it at your drugstore and its great value! good luck!
an oil-free liquid foundation plus loose powder is the best solution.

Clinque superfit make up is very good for oil-control.

also, use an oil-free moisturizer underneath. Lancome pure focus and clinque dramatically different moisturizing gel are both very good.

a primer helps a lot too. MAC pre+prime is a very good one. really does control oil and gives you the matt look for a very long time.

My wife's face smells awful, Can make up have a bad smell?

I noticed her face smelled like crotch. Her cheeks really smelled bad. I know she is not cheating on me. She would have to have her cheeks between some guys legs all night to get that kind of smell. She had left her make up on when she went to bed early because she was tired. When I kissed her goodnight I noticed the smell. So do I have to hire a P.I. or does make up sometimes smell like ball sweat. My wife's face smells awful, Can make up have a bad smell?
Yes, I definitely had a few makeup items that smelled quite bad. From what I remember, they were either expired or very cheap (and maybe expired, too?)

I would honestly bring it up with her - but certainly act like its a new thing.. because you can't just put up with her face smelly really nasty. If my fiance thought my face smelled rank, and didn't tell me, I'd be way more upset than his telling me and my being (temporarily) offended.

It could also be a sweat thing, although I'm not sure of any reason it would be effecting just her face.

    Or maybe a new perfume?

Good luck!My wife's face smells awful, Can make up have a bad smell?
Im sorry if ur serious but that is the funniest question everrr asked..as for the make up making her cheeks smell i highly doubt that..she probably hasnt taken a shower and isnt eating the right foods so because of a mixture like that she smells
He makeup could be expired (it expires!) and usually when that DOES happen, it smells like old and musty.. gross ..etc. Check the date. There should be one, if not, have her buy new makeup anyway and see if that helps
LOL maybe she's using the same wash cloth for her body as her face?? That's the only explanation I can give you because I've never EVER come across somebody who's face smells like crotch.
No makeup usually has a sweet smell .. at least all mine do.

The high chances are that she touched something not that nice smelling and touched her face.

It's bad to sleep in your make up btw .... skin ages faster.
I really think she might have used the same cloth used on her body/private area to clean her face. If not that it might be that she touched her face without washing her hands.
maybe she was touching herself in her private and then forgot to wash her hands and wiped it on her face or somthing im not trying to be rude it just could be posible make up doenst smell like tht
the only thing i can think of if that her make up is old/ expired...get her new make up, bath oils and nice smelling face lotions,,maybe it will go away...hope this helps
Maybe she's been rolling around in poop. Or it could be her make-up and tons of other things.
OMG LOL! THAT IS THE FUNNIEST THING EVER!
makeup never smells like ball sweat sorry look like someone ben getting some on the side
LOL this is the funniest stuff i've read on here. HAHA but uh..i dont think any makeup smells THAT bad...
i'm sorry i dont have a proper answer, but try googling the ';symptoms';. maybe there is a such thing since makeup can react w/skin. hopefully its not ur worst fears. good luck!

  • Is it okay for a 14 year old to wear a full face of make up?

    Like:-

    Foundation

    Powder

    Blusher

    Eyeshow

    Mascara

    Lipstick

    Lipgloss

    Eyeliner

    etc.

I'm always quite worried that people think or if I look tacky :Is it okay for a 14 year old to wear a full face of make up?
    |ehh, sorry for the horrible answer yesterday.... =/ i just got a horrible haircut and i was mad at the world.......

anyways, i think it's ok if its going to be a ';soiree'; or evening event, but for school and daytime, a full face is just too much. i think you should go with

    eyeliner

    mascara

    *natural* colored eyeshadow

    a little coverup for blemishes

lipglossIs it okay for a 14 year old to wear a full face of make up?
Ohh I like this question :). It's a very interesting point, and I admit I worry about it too, just because you see those girls that walk around with orange faces and eyeliner three times as thick. However, the key is subtlety. What I mean is, as long as the colour of your foundation and powder matches your skin tone it won't look like your wearing any. And it doesn't look like you're wearing any at all! Just looks like you have clear skin. Also blusher should compliment your cheek bones but not look unnatural, which yours also does. Another point is lips, if the colour of the lipstick is perfect for your skin tone, you've chosen a very subtle peachy tone and the lipgloss isn't applied thickly it looks good! And the same with eyeshadow, and then mascara - every girl should wear it! And eyeliner is made to make your eye look nice.. so all in all, if wore right you'll look fine. Which you do! Just try and give your face a day off or two and ALWAYS take your makeup off before you go to sleep, if left on be prepared for majorrrrr premature aging.
I'm the same age as you and to be completely honest with you there are girls in my grade that wear way too much makeup and everyone just cringes about it behind their back.

I get it if you want to feel better about yourself or improve your self esteem but I think makeup should only be used to enhance your natural beauty and too much is just going to detract on it.

Try cutting down a bit and see what kind of reaction you get from people and if anyone comments on it :)
Ew, that much makeup? no offence, but if you hated your face that much...go tell your parents their ugly..cause ur features came from them. Embrace yourself

But...i can't tell you not to wear any makeup at all..cause like, i wear makeup too..i'm 13..so my makeup list would probably be good for you

Face: I have no acne and have normal skin so only sometimes VERY RARELY do i wear bronzer and blush.

Eyes: I apply a one color liquid black eyeliner, with a single eyeshadow color on top.

If i'm feeling fancy, i'd mix 2 eyeliner colors together with eyeshadow. Or i'd put on only black eyeliner with 2-3 different colored eyeshadows. But my colors are very light, they are not pigments..just visible enough as light, beautiful blended colors...but only wear eyeshadow like that at night..during the day...so not necessary and a waste of your makeup

take out the blush, the mascara, lipstick, and foundation
It sounded like loads from the question I was expecting you look really bad but doesn't actually look that bad I think you look pretty :) not tacky at all

+ who cares what other people say it's your face you can choose what you put on.

Honestly though you're not wearing too much make-up it looks fine and enchances your features.
you don't need to wear full makeup like foundation, powder cause you're still young so you don't you need foundation and powder. It just looks unnatural on a 14 year old girl but you could put mascara, eyeshadow, eyeliner. the whole eye thing - makeup cause what your lacking in the photo is the whole eye makeup part if you did then it'll look good
dont , teenagers have extra sensitive skin, it will make acne only worse, skip foundation, powder, blusher.

lipstick and lip gloss are ok, eye liner and mascara too. just dont over do it.

i know women who are in their late 20s now, they look like 40, they all used foundation and powder as teenagers it ruined their skin.
Hmmmm, it depends whether its everyday and for school. I'm 14 and everyday I always wear mascara no matter what. Sometimes if I have lots of spots or I need to feel better about myself I'll put on some concealer. If all of what you said is what you wear everyday.. and to school then I'd say cut out the lip stick, blusher, powder. And if eyeshow is basically eyeshadow then cut that out too, but if not erm...i dunno =]
It depends on what colors and stuff you use

im 14 and i wear all that part from the lip-makeup (i dnt like it)

i no sum girls and they use foundation that is way too dark for their complextion and that looks tacky

i try and make my makeup look natural and not fake but i do like dark eye =]

so...anyway the answers is no if it is worn properly
Em i would take out the lipstick for sure, your only 14 don't act too old. Don't put on too much blusher or too dramatic eye shadow. Its fine to wear make up as long as its done subtly and your foundation isn't CAKED on and too dark for you. try looking on this web site, it has some great tips. http://www.essortment.com/lifestyle/subt鈥?/a>

    hope i helped :D
No. I'm 13. I only wear lipgloss and purfeme and sometimes mascara.
    nooooo

    im 13..

i just wear foundation just to cover up the acne scars.

    mascara.

    and sometimes eyeliner.
14 year olds shouldn't wear full face make up, it's bad for your skin and it is more likely to make you seem fake and unattractive. Be natural. :)
wow, that's too young a age to wear so much makeup, why would you want to do that? wearing too much makeup isnt attractive at all.
NO. JUST STICK WITH FOUNDATION AND EYELINER/OR MASCARA AND LIPGLOSS..
hell no, makeup is for a woman, you shouldn't need anything unless you want to cover up a blemish
It depends how you do it

If it's done subtly then it will look fine.

Its those girls who cake it on that make it look gross
    It depends..

Some people look really slutty with loads of make up on.

But i think your abit young to wear all of that :| You probally don't need to wear it :)
well if this helps im 15 and never bothere to wear it, but maybe put it on but natural shades, so mayb its not as ovboius to the person that ur wearing so much! xxx
No it is not I always see girls at school who go way over the top and I just find it unattractive.
No it's ok to wear that when you go out but not everyday. On a daily basis i would only wear some mascara. x
That is way over the top for any 14 year old. Too much. Keep it simple.
I did when i was 14. It really depends on the person.
    No, it looks cheap

Advice, Whats the best cream for your face and blend in with your make-up??

I have been using niva cream for the last two years, I have noticed that my skin can be quite greasy, and sometime i get some odd dry skin. I have been drinking plenty of water and fruit, the only problem I have is when I put my make-up on, i noticed in the mirror and bright light i see shiny patches. I had enough now, i'll tried a few cream but some makes my make-up darker as theres no shine and then some that doesn't take away flake skin, now is there any body out there give me some tips etc. I'm not changing my make up as I like the shade. Thanks folks.Advice, Whats the best cream for your face and blend in with your make-up??
Hi I find Nivea makes my skin greasy too and it sounds like you have cmbination skin to me. At the moment I use evening primrose oil moisturising cream its the only mositurise that isnt greasy and doesnt bring me out in spots. Ive tried loads of creams but I never mix them in with my foundation. Your suppose to let you moisturiser soak into the skin for about 5-10 mins before you put on you foundation. Have you ever thought that it could be your founation causing this problem as the make up you said you use are im my eye the worse ones you can use. Ive spent quite a bit on max factor product and loreal but they dont work and leave the skin shiny and greasy and do nothing for the dry parts. So this is why I use Barbara Dailys oil free foundation and its the best Ive uses for my skin type as its oil free, it doesnt ,make my skin greasy and it also stops me from breaking out in spots and moisturises also. So I would highly recommend it to anyone who has trouble with there combination skin. Its so light to apply you do need a few coats but it stay put all day and you wont find any shiny patches. If you feel better then use the face powder over you make up. Like boots natural shine free pressed powder, This is the one I use on top of my Barbara Daily oil free foundation and it give a flawless look.

You get can only get Barbara Daily from Tesco its called MAKE-UP you might have seen it. I though it was a cheap make as I just glanced at it and never really gae it much attention as the bottles are plain not like the other makes that are bright and claim to work miracles. I was looking for a founation that doesnt dry the skin, isnt too dark, doesnt clogg pores and helps with shine. But at first there was just the usual brands which I wasted money on and none of them worked for me. So I say the Barbara Daily section and notice the products were around a 拢5 so I though I ve tried everything else and I spotted this foundation and read the back and thought Ill try it. Ive tried everything else. And when I tried it the next day I was very happy anf cant live without it now. I wont be using anyother. I already bought the rimmel cool matte mousse the previous week as well but that was giving me a rash and making my skin even dryer and did nothing for the shine. Its worth a try in using evening primrose moisturiser and this foundation. I know you say you like the colour but if its doing more harm than good it may be time for a change.Advice, Whats the best cream for your face and blend in with your make-up??
I use clean%26amp;clear oxygenating ultra-light moisturizer because it keeps my skin from drying out but also from my pores clogging from becoming greasy. I really recommend that. What kind of makeup are you using? I use mary-kay foundation and it doesn't seem to be affected by my moisturizer. It'll probably work fine for yours.
mary kay usually has good stuff.
Clarins do nice products for the face but I have been using Burts Bees Milk %26amp; Honey body lotion (on my face) every evening and it really seems to be just the right amount of moisture without drowning my skin, plus smells lovely.
I would'nt advise nivea cream on the face its ok for the body.Try a product that is just for the face.
try using decleor, hydra floral emulsion its for all types its a fantastic base for make up.since ive been using it ive had flawless skin.its not too expensive.i also recommend that you exfoliate once a week this gets rid of dead skin, complexion is brighter and your products will work better for you.good luck!
I would use a good moisturizer from Oil of Olay, Revlon or Clinique. There are so many different moisturizers to choose from. Then use your Max Factor shade of makeup over it.
Try Astrel. It comes in a blue tub. My mom has been using it since she was 21 (she's 56 now) and not only has she got fantastic skin but she looks no older than 40.
It depends what nivea cream you are using. At the mo I'm using Nivea Young Control It Moisturiser. Its really good, nice fresh smell and you don't need to apply a lot. It also depends on you skin type and that all important time of the month as you skin changes to due to hormone changes.

I have to change moisturiser every couple off months due to unwanted skin changes. Try going to make-up counters and ask for a skin consultation and free samples to help you make your decision.
try proactive or a cream from avon clean makeup its called

You people who've worn costumes(like that would cover your face;beyond make-up)?

I saw this pic of my friend when she was in Disneyland

She was hugging Goofy..... I was wondering if people who wear costumes like that smiled when taking a pic

I'm also wondering if like you kids with like your Death costumes or something smiled when taking picsYou people who've worn costumes(like that would cover your face;beyond make-up)?
i knew someone who worked as a mascot, she didn't smile. those costumes are hot and uncomfortable. it's just part of the job to have pictures taken. You people who've worn costumes(like that would cover your face;beyond make-up)?
I'm going to take a wild guess and say that if they've been socially conditioned to smile when their picture is taken, they will do it even if you can't see their face. It will just be habit at that point. I stick to simpler masks, personally, and I never smile for a pic anyway. 'Tis just my way.
haha well I think some do. I wouldn't know.. no personal experience you see :P

I think some wouldn't have been able to help it..

and I know some costumes/masks you can see thru sometimes and see their face or bottom part so you can see if they do so maybe those do.
as a person who had to be the mascot for my radio station...I can tell you specifically it can be difficult inside those suits, but we do smile if a pic is taken. just to be polite.

As for your ';dead kids costumes' You have as much of a clue as I do.
I doubt they smile. I wouldn't know, but it wouldn't do anything.

And what is a Death costume? Like, demons or zombies, etc? Yes. It's a costume.. that doesn't make someone an actual demon.

Im 28 years old and i love to wear a full face of make-up to work,so many people stare and giggle at me, why? ?

I am a beauty therapist and i love make-up. I stick to natural colour tones and dont wear crazy colourful makeup. I use bronzer over my foundation and eyelids and use black eyeliner on my top lids and black mascara and a light pink lipgloss. I think that i look good, my family, friends, work collegues all say i look great! so i dont understand why so many people in public stare, giggle to thier friend as they walk by me, or even basically laugh in my face. ??? its really depressing me quite a lot... i just dont understand and i want to know what is so damn funny so that i can change it. People like to see people that has has alittle makeup but dosent over do it.
maybe you're using the wrong colour for foundation?
Could you post a picture up? Maybe we can all get a better idea that way and therefore help you better.
maybe we need a picture of your face w/ the makeup...maybe it is way too much or too dark????
those people are retards lol. but ive noticed that even when people use natural tones they tend to apply it unnaturaly. but i think that eyliner applied to the top looks really nice and your makeup dosent seem like it would be laughed at. maybe just try and make it look more natural.

Any good make up tips for my face?

i have a heart shaped face..its not too long..i have a long nose tho lol..and my skin is olive.. i look really bad right now...Any good make up tips for my face?
i like olive skin. you'd look good in bronzes and earth tones. use a good concealer and some blusher. nude color lipsticks and browns/reds would look fabulous on you.Any good make up tips for my face?
    Try plastic surgery
First off it is important to have good self esteem and work from the inside out do things that build your self confidence. Two of prettiest women I ever met did work that built their self confidence that was not considered extremely feminine, one was a mechanic and the other was a Tai Kwan Do instructor. Eating a good diet and drinking plenty of water 8 eight ounce glasses a day will help you. Exercise regularily will help you, meditation will help you relax to decrease stress lines. Do things to make you feel good think good thoughts because it will show on your face. Be good say good things because people will remember what you are and how you are such that when they see you it will affect their perceptions of you. A good style that goes well with your face will help. Some of the prettiest women in the world are professional athletes and many do not wear lots of makeup. Makeup can enhance your looks but if you become too dependent upon it then it will affect your skin such that often it may look sallow or sickly when you do not wear it. Be sure if you wear it you clean and prepare your skin well to protect it before you put it on and after you take it off. Use a good UV protecting moisturizer for when you are out in the sun. I am a licensed cosmetologist and began wearing makeup heavily as a young teen to cover freckles. When I began running to help me quit smoking at age 22 I stopped wearing makeup constantly. I had makeup come out of my skin for 6 months onto my shirt I used for running and it stained it permanently. Though I took good care of my skin it is better to work from the inside out to enhance your looks. I look young for my age possibly because I stopped wearing very heavy makeup at age 22 and do not wear it at all because over use caused me to have severe allergies to makeup for a long time such that I am use to not wearing it. I really do not care too much about what I look like now because the hours I spent making myself look better on the outside are now spent doing things that make me happier on the inside now.

    Hope this helps you.

The advice from missflower is excellent -

what happens is smoking causes vasoconstriction which closes up the minute blood vessels called capillaries in the skin and to other parts of the body such that nutrition, oxygen along with water is cut off to these parts of the body causing aging along with decreased toxin removal. She is so correct much of what she is discussing is related to massage which increases blood flow to those areas that are massaged thus stimulating blood flow with associated benefits. Also the other day when I was talking to someone about oily skin and acne a person mentioned to me that acne is associated with bacteria. Such that keeping the skin clean is important. Using a good pH balanced in the pH range of your skin cleanser is important. Using facial masks such as the oatmeal missflower suggested can help remove impurities and help stimulate blood flow. Clay masks help remove oil. There are a great many books and products out there to try and use. What works for one person may not work for another. A thinly sliced cucumber slices placed upon the face after cleansing can have an astringent affect. Long hair parted down the middle can emphasize the nose thus elongating it you may want to part to the side not have a part or part it slightly off the middle. Different styles can effect and enhance different face shapes. I really like all missflower and learned from her also. Thanks
Orange tones would look great for your skin color. use a concealer if your skin isn't doing too great. Also, clinique, frederic fekkai, 24/7, and neutrogena have great products.

    OFCOURSE NOT DEAR..HOWEVER U R ..U R BEAUTIFUL I'M SURE.

AS FAR MAKEUP IS CONCERNED APPLY A GUD FOUNDATION CREAM AND A COMPACT THAT 'LL DO. HERE R SOME NATURAL TIPS TO MAKE UR SKIN GLOW...

    EAT A WELL-BALANCED DIET:

To remain healthy, your skin needs a regular and well-balanced supply of nutrients. You may not need any supplements, provided you look after your skin and you are generally healthy. Try to eat at least five portions of fresh vegetables or fruits every day: this should be quite easy if you have three pieces of fruit as desserts or snacks, plus a salad or vegetable dish with two meals.

Bad skin is not generally caused by any one food, unless it is an allergic reaction, but particular foods can aggravate poor skin.

The myth that chocolate, sweets and other fatty and sugary foods cause spots is not entirely unfounded: an eating pattern high in these foods and low in fresh, vegetables and other constituents of a healthy diet means that your skin is unlikely to be getting all the nutrients it needs. Women who would rather eat a bar of chocolate or a bag of crisps than an orange, for example, may lack vitamin C. This can make your immune system less able to fight infections, including those on the skin-spots. In addition, women often eat more chocolate at times when they are feeling down, whether emotionally, hormonally or physically, which also has a negative effect on the skin. If you already have spots, a diet that is high in sugar or fat may make your system even more susceptible to bacterial infections, which may further aggravate spots and other skin conditions.

    DRINK PLENTY OF WATER:

In our society, where many of us have central heating and lead active lives, one of the commonest causes of tired-looking skin is dehydration, both on the surface and throughout the body. Aim to re-hydrate your body by drinking two to three litres ( four to five pints) of water a day.

This should ideally be taken as plain or lightly flavoured, unsweetened water and not tea, coffee or other caffeine-containing or sugary drinks.

CUT DOWN ON TEA AND COFFEE

Women who drink a lot of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cola-type drinks are more likely to have tired-looking skin and to suffer from conditions such as greasy skin and spots. This is because these drinks contain caffeine, which prevents your body from making good use of the vitamins and minerals from your food. Try to drink no more than three cups of coffee, tea or other caffeine containing drinks a day.

    KEEP YOUR ALCOHOL INTAKE LOW

Excessive alcohol intakes may lead to skin problems such as split veins. Try not to drink more than the recommended 21 units a week (a unit is the equivalent of a glass of wine, a standard measure of spirits or half a pint of beer, larger or cider of ordinary strength).

Some women have a skin allergy to some alcoholic drinks, which usually manifests itself as hives. Hives are little itchy red spots that appear under the surface of the skin and make it feel hot and sensitive; they are sometimes known as nettle rash. The most common allergic reaction is to Salicylates, substances that occur naturally in some foods, such as grapes, banana, beans, strawberries and other berry fruits. If you get, a rash after eating some of these foods, beers may affect you in the same way, since they are often high in Salicylates. Instead, choose wine, gin, vodka or whisky.

    TRY TO GIVE UP SMOKING

Nicotine does not help you keep a healthy skin. It attacks the blood vessels that feed the skin with nutrients and oxygen, as well as those that drain away the waste products from the skin. Your skin therefore becomes poor at ridding itself of unwanted substances and in severe cases also starts to lack oxygen.

Other substances produced by smoke can age the skin greatly and affect the nail beds and hair follicles, which nestle in the epidermis. If you want to have a youthful, healthy appearance, try to give up smoking.

After you cleanse your face, you should ';exfoliate.'; This is very much like the process of peeling an onion or removing tiles from a roof. Exfoliating is necessary for getting the blood flowing into the face, as well as for removing grime.

Take a packet of sugar (raw sugar works the best), add a couple drops of olive oil to create a spreading condition, then gently rub it into the creases of your face.

Open a packet of instant oatmeal, mix it with water and create a paste. Rub this mixture into your face, then rinse off the residue.

Suggestion: Use instant oatmeal on your face, while using the traditional ';old-fashioned'; oatmeal to exfoliate the entire body.

Rub sea salt (available in health food sotres) all over both your body and your face. You'll love its invigorating effects.
always apply make-up with a light touch. Over doing it can actually accentuate what you want to hide.
If you go to MaryKay.com you can type in all of that and it will tell you what foundations, colors, etc to use to beautify your face... check it out

  • Do you wear the make-up base before put the foundation on your face?

and why do you wear it?Do you wear the make-up base before put the foundation on your face?
No. In the Summer, I wear a ';summer tan'; and in the off summer season (when my tan has faded), I wear a creamy (non-greasy) liquid make-up and lightly brushed on blush.Do you wear the make-up base before put the foundation on your face?
yeahh, it makes the foundation not look so cakey and plastered on.
Yes I do. but not all the time because its expensive and when I wear every days so it gone fast.

What can i do to make make-up last on my face?

i have quite an oily face and make up doesnt last for long...

and if i apply any make up .... i tend to have small pimples which disappear shortly..

what can i do??What can i do to make make-up last on my face?
Try using oil absorbing make up base and oil free make up.

Also I strongly recommend oil blotting paper. You don't have to keep applying foundation this way. What can i do to make make-up last on my face?
first you need to find a face wash that helps eliminate oil on the face's surface like nutrogeena oil free acne wash. Then get an oil free coverup. i use covergirl matte mouse and its great!. you can apply it to the whole face if needed and its not noticable or just the areas you are going to apply more makeup. For instance, eyes. First cover-up then shadow. The cove-up helps the shadow stick and not get creases. Same with bronzer or blush. As for thos small pimples, you may be somewhat allergic to some chemicals in certain make-ups and should see a dermetologist.

    Hope this helps!
i like my make-up to last a little bit longer too

for foundation you can put a little bit of liquid foundation and quickly brush on some powder before the liquid really gets a chance to dry

for lips put a little bit of lipliner on before your lipstick/gloss

eyeshadow use a cotton tip to apply eyeshadow and put a very very small dap of water on the cotton dip before the eyeshadow it keeps it on longer and also brightens it up a little bit

blush if you have it use cream and then powder blush makes that stay longer

the only make-up i cant seem to get to stay longer it my eyeliner

but i just try to cover that up by putting a little liquid liner on my top lid so yeh..
best trick is to spray a little bit of hairspray on ur face...

just a weenie bit not to much...
Use a primer. The best one for me is mac prep and prime. 拢16. then use a liquid foundation oil free blend in properly the finish with a powder on top to set. plus always carry powder on you for touch ups. For lips you can buy everlast lipstick but they are drying. opt for gloss or lipstick and the longer you spend applying by lining your lips then colour them in with the pencil then add a maching of ligh gloss on top, then all you need is to keep applying gloss every few hours. xx
Do NOT use hairspray. It is not something that should be used near the eyes.

I have combo skin that gets oilier in the summer. I use an oil free moisturizer, Clean and Clear Dual Action Oil Free Moisturizer. After I put it on, I wait about 15 minutes before putting on foundation. I use Revlon Colorstay for normal/combo. After I put it on, I wait about 5 minutes then lightly powder my entire face including eyelids (the powder I use is Sally Hansen Cornsilk). then I apply the rest of my makeup and lightly powder again. When I do a touch up during the day, I use oil blotting papers then a light touch of powder.

Also, make sure your brushes are cleaned regularly otherwise you are building up oil on them which then transfers it to your face. Don't use the puffs that come with powder compacts unless you replace them once a week.

How long does it take for aloe vera to clear up acne on your face and help make your skin better?

I have been using aloe vera on my face for about three days now because many people have used it to clear acne and help your skin and it has reduced my acne a little. I was wondering how long it takes until you see results on your skin? ThanksHow long does it take for aloe vera to clear up acne on your face and help make your skin better?
Aloe Vera does not get rid of acne. Aloe Vera is used as an anti-inflammatory product. If you have inflamed acne (the big red ones) then you can use Aloe Vera to soothe them. How long does it take for aloe vera to clear up acne on your face and help make your skin better?
It usually takes about 2 weeks for any new skin clearing product to start working, it will get worse before it gets better, because well I have no clue why it does that. Every single time I try something new it makes it worse before it gets better, tell me if it works out.

    Lindsey
I did it for about 2 weeks before I really saw results. When it starts to clear up, keep going though. I stopped for a bit and then it just gets bad again. So stick with it and in about a month you will see real results!
I've never heard of aloe clearing up acne. You'd think it would do the opposite.
i thought it was for sunburns

How would you cover scars in your face using just make-up?

The most important thing is getting the right color. If marks are blue you should use a yellow based tint, if red use green based. Make sure to get foundation that matches your skin. If you see a line at your jaw line, it doesn't match. Cover a colored scar by dabbing foundation on the area with a makeup sponge. Follow by applying a loose powder. Scars that have texture to them will still show, but will match the rest of your skin. How would you cover scars in your face using just make-up?

    try dermablend!
Concelar and at night use ScarZone lotion
It may take a bit of skill but you can do it. Before I start I want to mention There is a make up that does this at high end cosmetic counters. But, if you want a tip from an experienced esthetics's techniques I will help you as much as I can w/o seeing the scar(s) in person.

Basically light colors will bring up the bottom surface of th scar.

Using a heavier type of concealer (any brand), before apply foundation. Match 2 shades of color the closest to your skin tone. There are no ethic boundaries. Any clear loose powder will be needed to dust the area your working on.

Darker colors will indent (make deeper).

So, use a thin brush and dab the inside part of the scar with the lighter color. Then wipe the brush off, and use a shade darker and dab this on the surrounding part of the scar. Then apply your regular foundation make up. Gently pat your foundation on, taking care not to rub the art work you just applied to the scar area.

Lastly dust the scar area with loose powder. It may seem light at first but let it rest a few minutes, apply your eye makeup or blush while waiting.

    Viola. It's like magic.

The technique sounds time consuming but, it won't take that long after you get use to doing this.

You may have to play around with the concealer colors. Also, on the back of your hand you can mix the 2 colors with your brush to customize your perfect color.
    Get Origins concealers
Mineral makeup works very well for this. My friend uses Bare Essentials to cover up a red birthmark.
use a good concealer first, then foundation over that http://www.marykay.com/s_azad/default.as鈥?/a>
get a cover makeup for scars and blimishes
Start with a daily routine, wash your face with a gentle facial cleanser, use an astringent, followed by a moisturizer. Use one with sunscreen since tanning a scare will only worsen it. Also use a moisturizer with vitamin E since it will promote healing. Then you will need cover-up stick, base/foundation and press powder in a color that is slightly darker then your natural shade. Dot the cover-up stick over the effected areas and lightly blend into the skin. I find a foundation brush very effective, but you can use a sponge or even you fingers. Then dot your face with the foundation blending over and around the area with the scar. Finish off by dusting a light covering of press power over the entire face and throat
Use a great concealer, maybe one that's one shade lighter than your skin tone (so that it off-sets the dark), and then apply your foundation.
get concealer that maches the color af your skin tone

Minimize chubby part of face using make up or anything?

i know i asked this before but i wanted to add something to it. . .

ok so around my lips i have this part that's like kinda puffy or chubby. I'm probably just being a little over self conscience about it but i was just wondering is there any way to minimize it or make it less noticeable. Miranda kerr is an example of how i want it to look. Around her cheek it is kind of like straight down instead of chubby.

here is a pic of her:

here is a pic of the bottom part of my face:

You can't really tell cause of the flash on the camra but it's more towards the outer corners of my lips

PLUS i wanted to know how to hightlight your jaw bone. Like make it straight it's kind of hard to describe but like Miranda Kerr's jaw boneMinimize chubby part of face using make up or anything?
Just be yourself. You use a darker beige powder on the part you want to look smaller and lighter on the part you want to stand out more. You probably look just fine. Your link did not work.

    Clear Lipgloss.

    Red blush.

    Black mascara.

Lots of foundation, powder, and concealer.Other than black eyeliner, black nail varnish and pale face, what other make up could be dark and gothic?
    Lips:

dark red lipstick, dark red lip gloss, clear lipgloss, black lipstick

    Nails:

dark blood red, dark purple (that almost looks black), dark blue, dark green

    Eyeliner:

dark blue (deep navy), dark green

    Eyeshadow:

black, gray, white, dark purple, dark blue, dark green

Hope that helps. I just suggested the reds, purples, blues, and greens because I thought that wearing the same black stuff everyday was kind of boring. Plus, they give a splash and might really pop up against pale skin.Other than black eyeliner, black nail varnish and pale face, what other make up could be dark and gothic?
Red lipstick, dark purple eye shadow, red eye liner, and thats about it. oh yah and pink touches for a more punky look. or alot of pink for a more femenine look.
    Almost any dark colour.

    Purples, red, blues, greens.

Goths can wear any colour they wish.

Not just black or dark colours.
Red eye shadow looks crazy on a pale face. By crazy I mean awesome! Good luck

What's your daily face routine? (Ex. day and night face wash & make up)?

What products do you think work well? (I am 21...I want to say that i have acne prone skin...but i usually get a few pimples every now and then)

I am looking to switch....or re arrange my daily face regimen as it seems that its not doing much to my face...but probably making me break out

i use clean and clear products....(primarily deep clean foam cleanser, day moisturizer with spf and night moisturizer...i have the astrigent...but i came to the conclusion that it DOES help with the pimples resurfacing BUT it also leaves scars)

I also might be breaking out because of my make up (i don't wear make-up everyday....i'd say about 4 out of the 7 days on a regular week, and i dont wear tons of it...usually foundation as my spot concealer, some pressed powder, maybe blush...and eyeliner...but i am thinking about expanding it lol and doing the real thing

but it all depends how i am feeling...where i am going..you know lol

also, i am thinking about trying out organic make up Physician's Formula (I want to throw out all of my ';old'; make up as this may be causing me to break out more frequently)...but I don't think I am hearing too good of reviews for them

I am light/Medium skinned tone and their products seems to be for more fairer/lighter skin...

anyway, i would like to read some of what other people use...and their experience with it

thanks =]What's your daily face routine? (Ex. day and night face wash %26amp; make up)?
I am around your age and also have skin issues...I've found that when I stopped trying so hard to get rid of everything, it clears itself up. I'm currently using Neutrogena products morning and night. My makeup is Bare Escentuals mineral foundation, and it is fantastic, it covers yet doesn't clog my pores and cause more breakouts. I have light skin also, and it makes my face look more natural than other foundations.

Another product I use when I've got a breakout is Yuva Active Clearing Gel.What's your daily face routine? (Ex. day and night face wash %26amp; make up)?
Every day I wash my face with Clean and Clear foamy acne wash (the purple one), then I apply benzoyl peroxide liquid from acne free, when that is dry, I use Wet n Wild concealer over my face and top it off with covergirl pressed powder and wet n wild silk finish blush.
Well, face wash I use neutrogena(if that's how u spell it) the foaming clenser, witch hazel for toner and this face moisturiser my uncle buys for my mum. Is pretty good, it smoothen out my sking and gotton rid of the scars on my face.a aahhah

    Day time make-up

Natio face cream, then a wait for a while and put sunscreen on.

I use MAC studio tech (just abit) as concealer,

Then Natio mineral loose powder foundation, the dustit off with MAC blotting powder

    A bit of MAC blushcreme,

Clinique brown eyeshadow (I don't know the name)

Lip balm and I just curl my eye lash.

    Takes like 10min max.

    Night time

    Moisturise using the same thing,

MAC studio tech and studio fix fluid. (As foundation and concealer)

MAC blotting powder, the MAC blush creme,

I then use revlon beyond cream eye shadow, MAC fluidline for my top eye lid and their eye kohl for my bottom. I then use the MAC carbon eyeshadow to help smudge it and make the eyeliner last longer. Currently using Napoleon perdis mascara.....not that good ahaha, lipbalm and I'm off, takes about a good 30min max.
Well, I'm 15 and I'm Asian, but tanned since my parents immigrated from Cambodia, and to be honest, my skin's not that great!

On average, I use pro-active with the refining mask (it works for me surprisingly!) once if my day isn't that busy or twice if i felt like its been a long day. The refining mask i use on my face twice a week for 10 minutes.

At night, if I see pimples appearing or its around ';that time of the month'; i dab the refining mask right on them and sleep and the next morning its close to or completely gone.

Redoing the routine over again, i also use a clean and clear face moisturizer for my face lotion and it works great, if I put it on every now and then to re-moisturize my face, it keeps it smooth and doesn't interfere with the pro-active cleansing routine.

I keep a box of tea bags too along with the tea leaves we have and I put them in the refrigerator, not the freezer, and use them on my eyes at night for 30 minutes of sleeping (although when i wake up, they are obviously not on my eyes) so I go to sleep on my back (even though that induces snoring, which thank god, I don't snore).

But yeah, I'm around your tone of skin, so we need more ';demanding products'; Neutrogena works good too! Oh and with a cleanser (preferably with beads or pumice stone in them) and also an ELECTRIC toothbrush, just put some on it and scrub your face with the toothbrush, of course I have to reapply the cleanser on several times on the toothbrush, or put the cleanser on your face, smooth it around and then use the toothbrush to help clean it. It helps a lot!

Mineral powder and makeup that is light yet still has a good duration are good too. Sometimes they'll some with more money needed, but Sephora (their brand and the brands they host) and some drugstore brands are great (Covergirl!!!)

Don't wah your face too much,

    Don't be to stressed out,

    Make a good workout/yoga routine,

and this all can help you look great and feel good too!

If my face is peeling, and I want to wear make-up to my graduation tommorow, Is it going to look bad??

Is there something I can do to make it look better??If my face is peeling, and I want to wear make-up to my graduation tommorow, Is it going to look bad??
First of all, scrubbing your face hard is NEVER good for your face. I am an esthetician, trust me.

I need to know why your face is peeling... If your face is peeling because its dry, a light exfoliant is okay to take the dead skin off. However, if your skin is peeling because its sun burned, do NOT exfoliate. It will only irritate it further and you will be stopping the cell turnover.

If you can afford it, go to a salon to getting a hydrating facial. Otherwise, try using a thick moisturizor. Try using an overnight face cream all over your face. They are always super rich.

:)If my face is peeling, and I want to wear make-up to my graduation tommorow, Is it going to look bad??
Do a mask before you go to bed, use aromatherapy essential oil sleep with you, so you can relax you body as well as you mentality, tomorrow you will have a fresh look, with pink lotion foundations on you face, pink lip gross, light blue color eyeshadow, this makeup is suitable for a teen graduate, sweets %26amp; smart, congratulations !!!!
Why is your face peeling? Sunburn? The only advice I can give you is to wash your face really good with a washcloth. Sometimes giving your face a good rub with a washcloth will help rub the dead skin off. After you are done, use a good lotion. Hope this helps! Congradulations!
make sure you exfoliate. get a mitt from wally mart or make a scrub with some sugar and water(or lotion).

scrub really hard and then moisturize well.

    it should help
exfoliate, then moisterize berfore putting on ANY makeup.
yes exfoliate! best thing to do with what is happening to you.

What is the term for those faces that can be viewed either way up, and they still make a face?

Make up help for my face type?

I really hate my face. I have a really round, doughy face shape. I currently don't wear any make up, but what could I do to flatter my face?Make up help for my face type?
There are 3 easy steps to make your cheekbones more prominent and your face less round.

    1) Apply a powder bronzer under your cheekbones. Open your mouth and apply it on the part of your cheek that indents. Choose a golden shade if you have fair skin, a bronze shade for medium skin, and a deep shade for darker skin. Use a bronzer brush.

    2) Follow up with a blush above the bronzer, on the apples of your cheeks, and brush up near your temples. Make sure to use a good blush brush, not the one that comes with the blush. Buy a quality, separate one. If you have fair skin, try a pink; medium skin should look for peach; and dark skin should go for a rosy color.

    3) The last step is to use a light shimmery cream eyeshadow in a champagne or beige on the top of your cheekbones. Make sure to blend it in well! If you have dark skin, try a lighter brown or bronze. This also looks good on your brow bone, under your eyebrows and above your eyelids.

Make up help for my face type?
A great hair cut to accent your good features could help. I don't mean Supercuts either. Ask someone who has great hair where they get it cut, or look up reviews for salons on a website like www.Yelp.com . If you want to start wearing makeup but aren't sure how to apply it or what to use, go to a nicer department store ( like Macy's or Nordstrom) and look around the makeup counters. Find a brand that fits your budget and has colors you like, then ask the reps at the counter for help. Usually they'll have women who can do your makeup and make suggestions as to what will be best for your face shape and skin type. Be careful because usually they'll try to sell you a ton of expensive stuff. Buy one or two things you really like, and get the rest at a drugstore or something.
Well, I think you should put on a little coverup and then a light rosy pink color on your cheek bones to make them more noticable. Try a little eyeliner(not a lot) and maybe a light brown eyeshadow. Mascara is always good. xoHope this helpsxo

    ~Macerzz
I think adding a little cheek color to your cheek bones might minimize their roundness.
a type of haircut would help slim down your face. but i dont know bout makeup. go to a pro salon and ask about it.
    Picture please

How to disguise your face with make up? ?

Ok so my friend is only 14 and she is meeting up with these 4 so called ';14 year old'; guys which dont even sound 14. So me and my friend have decided we are going to spy on them because we think she is in danger. They are going to the movies and he has been saying stuff like that he wants to finger her, pick up with her, have sex with her! and this other really gross stuff but I was just wondering when we spy what sort of make up will we need to make it not look like us?

My friend has some moles that out other friend will recognise and she will recognise me no doubt about it.

Tell your friend shes an idiot and it she still wants to go, tell her parents. Thats what a true friend would do, not just ';spy'; on her.
So tell me, what are you planning to do once they start doing something?

Yell, ';HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! What your doing isn't right.';? Good luck with that.

Call the cops? They're too slow.

    Take a camera? Sure, you'll have proof of whatever happened, but you should also take a video and make a movie called ';Look who got away!';

  • Minimize chubby part of face using make up or anything?

ok so around my lips i have this part that's like kinda puffy or chubby. I'm probably just being a little over self conscience about it but i was just wondering is there any way to minimize it or make it less noticeable. Miranda kerr is an example of how i want it to look. Around her cheek it is kind of like straight down instead of chubby.

here is a pic of her:

your pic of you is invalid..can't see it

but to minimize a face, you can use either..a bronze in the jaw lines etc..or use a foundation one shad darker then what you use for your face..apply the darker foundation under chin..jaw line, and where you want to conceal..and blend..blend..blend

edit...yes, I did copy and paste the link..can't see the picMinimize chubby part of face using make up or anything?
There is no way to minimize things on the face without looking over done, but you can brighten them up!

Apply a brightener (usually a very light, pinkish white) from the corners of your mouth outward like whiskers on a cat and blend them in. It will be a subtle change and give you some more confidence.
well you need to highlight and contour. great products for that are the sculpt and shape by mac but if thats a little bit more expensive you can try the nyx one. you have to highlight your cheeks with the lighter color and use a powder thats a bit darker than you and make a fishy face. use that darker powder in the hollow part.

Make up and face cremes when pregnant?

I read somewhere vitamin A in some face cremes can cause birth defects is this true? Also what types of make up should i not wear if any. ONE more thing are there certain face washes i should stay away from? Your help is GREATLY appreciaTed! thanksMake up and face cremes when pregnant?
Q: I have been taking Vitamin A for my hair, skin and nails. I am worried that if I am pregnant I may have harmed my baby.

A: It is currently recommended that Vitamin A capsules should not be administered to pregnant women.

The recommended adult daily requirement for vitamin A from all sources is 2,500 IU. This is usually provided in the diet. Taking more than 2,500 IU a day as a supplement during pregnancy may cause birth defects. Some skin treatments contain vitamin A or related chemicals, known as retinols or retinoids. Although these treatments are usually creams applied to the surface of the skin, the vitamin A in them can cross into the blood stream.

It is most likely you have done no actual harm. However, until you can confirm whether you are pregnant or not, you should stop all of these treatments and discuss your concerns with your doctor.

    http://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/servl…

You really don't need to worry at all about any theoretical problems caused by taking cod liver oil and the extra vitamin A, which it contains.

Reports highlighting the risk of vitamin A in pregnancy were based on no more than a handful of cases throughout the world and you would have to take a very high dose to cause any harm to your baby.

Provided your diet is well balanced and healthy, the only vitamin you should be taking is folic acid along with extra iron, if you are anaemic to any significant degree.

It is normal in pregnancy to worry about all sorts of things, but you can put this particular concern at the back of your mind now, and enjoy the next few months.

http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/ate/pregnancy…Make up and face cremes when pregnant?
As long as the bottle doesnt have a warning not to use in pregnancy, then your fine. And just stay away from face wash that has a strong smell to it, specially is it has that alcohol smell!! You can still use any kind, just should be ingesting the smell too much!

How can i make my face look tan using make-up?

be careful with this one, you have to go light but it really works. i use bare esscentuals and after i apply the foundation, they have a bronzer-blush-thing called warmth and you just use a little bit of it and swirl it on the apples of your cheeks and seriously, the first time i used it people asked me if i had gone tanning and that i looked great. i have very pale skin and it looks natural. i use it everyday. you can get bare esscentuals at sephora. the get started kit is amazing. good luck! How can i make my face look tan using make-up?
    use bronzer

    and a big cheek brush

then apply where the sun would hit your face naturally

i use bath and body works %26lt;bronzer and big brush%26gt;How can i make my face look tan using make-up?
use foundation and a bronzer powder
    1. First moisturise.

    2. Use a primer. I always use MAC or CHANEL. The primer will help the make up to blend more evenly.

    3. Apply your foundation with a brush or fingers. I suggest going to MAC and getting a foundation picked out for you and also mention that you want your face to look abit more tanned and they will choose one with more warmth in it without making you look tacky.

    4. Apply bronzer. I found the most gorgeous bronzer from Bobbi Brown. Swirl a large angled contour brush around the bronzer and then tap the stick against your arm a couple of times to remove excess product. Apply across cheek bones and up to temples in large sweeps. Then apply along jawline. Apply on forehead and finally a light sweep down the bridge of your nose.

    5. Take another large brush and just blend your make up in to make sure there are no harsh lines.

    Hope this helps.
There is a tinted moisturizer that mac makes. Its real light. The mac specialists say that you can go a shade or too darker to give your face more of a tan but it really looks natural. My friend has it and her face glows. I would suggest that. Also, you should use a good bronzer like Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Bricks in Bronze. Apply it with a fluffy brush. Start at the apples of cheeks and brush a little up the cheekbone.

    Best of Luck!

    Meg
    bronzer
Well this is kinda of tricky, You can not use foundation because it will make your face look orange and your neck white! The best thing to use would be Estee Lauder's bronzer which comes with a long bronzing brush to evenly apply the bronzer which you would want to dust it down your neck to help it blend so you dont look two toned! Good Luck hope Ive helped.
bronzer... apply it with one of those big cheek brushes!
    foundtian or bronzer
    one word: BRONZER!
use the Jergens Natural Glow Face Lotion.

i use that and it makes my face and my skin tanner.
well if ur not tan and u make ur face tan then every1 is gonna kno that ur tryin to look tan cuz ur neck will be so much lighter, but if u want just ur face tan then use a darker foundation
    bronzer

http://www.bebo.com/PhotoAlbumBig.jsp?Pa鈥?/a> (on the right)Wat suits my face? haha make up advice please girls... fotos provided..?
You are very pretty, but I'll admit, your choices of makeup colors are too harsh for your face. You have ice blue eyes, a taupe eyeshadow will really make them stand out. Use it on your lower lid and slightly above the crease, and a light golden vanilla shadow very lightly on the eyebrow bone. Finish it off with black mascara. Your blush is perfect, don't change it. For the lips, I would use a rose color. Something like this: http://www.stainedcouture.com/cutenews/d鈥?/a>

And don't worry, wearing red lipstick makes you just as girly as pink. :)Wat suits my face? haha make up advice please girls... fotos provided..?
ok i think that you look pretty great to begin with. Its just that though your bold makeup look is fabulous and very fashionable, I only wear that type of makeup when i want to glam it up for going out with my friends. For day, its a little much. your hair is so pretty - i love the curls but you might want to find a more natural looking red colour for your hair.

    Cheers
well i think it's perfect for your face.. not too bold, not too ';is she or is she not wearing make up'; and i think you choose wisely as to what features you emphasise.. try some pinker lip colors (lighter red).
    ok well first of all

    you are so beautiful!!!

    your eyes are serioulsy stunning

what i would reccommend is a light shimmery eye shadow

    and a little less eyeliner

also maybe change your haircolor to a more natural shade

    hope i could help :)
ewww... i can c the inside of ur nose in this pic

    http://www.bebo.com/PhotoAlbumBig.jsp?Pa鈥?/a>

    lol =b

anyway... i think u look really pretty =)
I would go with an ivory colored foundation, moss green eyeliner (only on the bottom and not too heavy), black mascara, no eye shadow, and light pink lip gloss. The dark red lipstick contrasts too much with your hair.

    hope i helped =)
i think it looks good on you.

you dont always have to listen to your friends.

i think it gives you a POW factor, not all girls can pull that off.
    remove the dark eyeliner.

Add light Natural coloured Lip gloss %26amp; lip stick.

a bit of a bronzer. near cheeckbones

    A light pinkish eyeshadow

    and white eyeshadow on top.
Try brown or dark gray eyeliner instead, or just thinner black. Your lips should be a little lighter also. Less is makeup is more, especially if you are pretty, which luckily you are!
It's too much. Your makeup is definitley too bold. Go a little lighter with more neutral colors. Oh and your hair looks fake too. Dye it a natural color and you will be really pretty
I like it. Being bold isn't bad at all. Your make-up is excellent with your red hair, so if you want to change your make-up maybe you should change your hair too.
its nice, and pretty! and ur really pretty too ( i usually dont say that, but im not lez) butanyways, its nice b/c its different!
it looks okay to me...your hair has alot to do with how your make-up looks to! by you hair being that color it makes your make-up seems dark so i would say just brighten your colors up some.
    lol
i like your make up :D

maybe a little lighter it is a bit bold but i

    still like it anyways
I don't think you should change anything!
do whatever you want..i think you look pretty in those pictures
    don't change a thing you're stunning.
    9/10. you're hot.
i agree with your friends. go for a more subtle look

Is it my face wash, make-up or something else?

for a little over a month now my face has been breaking out in clusters on my cheeks and forhead and its like tons of blackheads and occasional white heads. My skin is never this bad and ussualy i dont get acne on my cheeks. i switched facial cleaner and the type of cover up i use at the same time so im not sure which one might be causing me to break out or if its something else..i use Velocity by Mary Kay and i use dream matte mouse by mayballine..i also use this toner from mary kay. i used to use a thing called Acnefree clear skin system..its like a 3 step thing like proactive and i barely ever got breakouts. Is it my face wash, make-up or something else?
It's your face.Is it my face wash, make-up or something else?
I used Acne Free before, and my face has been clear since. Sometimes, it is just very helpful to go to a facial, where it will smooth out your pores to a regular size, and that will help the acne and such to go away. You should probably use some more acne free even though it is a little tid bit expensive, it is waaaaay cheaper than getting a facial. It will really help if you do not use a ton of toner for a little until you figure out your problem.
Well it's kinda hard to tell online, Duncha dink? So my suggestion is try to figure it out yourself instead of asking a bunch of random strangers who might have a different reaction to your face wash and makeup. I suggest you wait until some of your acne clears up a bit and then use the face wash next week and then the makeup the next and see if the same thing happens either week, then you'll get your answer! Hope that helps though! :)
i would start to use the face wash thing you used before but not the makeup, see if your skin clears up but if it doesnt than its probaly your makeup

what i did to help get rid of pimples was not wear any cover up at all!!

    it helped alot
its probably your cover up, my face breaks out really bad from cover up, I would stop using one for a about a week or two and see if it clears up if not then stop using the other. Process of elimination.
