these products are fine but i suggest don't waste your money on maybelline blushes. they totally dry out your skin and they make your cheeks/face feel really heavy .

but the other face products you chose are good :)

Wrinkles are caused mostly by a combination of sun damage and genetics. If you are concerned about wrinkles, then above all else you should be wearing a sunscreen daily (or moisturiser containing sunscreen) and keeping out of the sun! Makeup will NOT give you wrinkles.

  • I put make up on my face except nose and i get all the pimples on my nose! why is that?

--%26gt;%26gt;thankzz%26lt;%26lt;--I put make up on my face except nose and i get all the pimples on my nose! why is that?
Very likely the makeup absorbs the oils in your skin and prevents the pimples. Also, some kinds of makeup contain vitamins which help your skin stay healthy. So maybe you should find a good brand of powder compact, and to use the old expression, ';powder your nose.';I put make up on my face except nose and i get all the pimples on my nose! why is that?
That happens to me too! I use makeup during the school year and rarely get pimples. but in the summer when I go several days without wearing makeup I get a lot more zits. I think its cuz makeup not only protects your skin from the environment but it absorbs alot of the oil your body gives of instead of it staying in your pores and turning into pimples.
Your face may not be used to wearing make-up and so it might be just a reaction to it. If you wash your skin before you apply make-up and after you want it off, it is less likely that it will happen again. Also, using a good face moisturizer is a good idea!
The nose is the highest area on the face for oil.
You need to wash your face every night! I don't care if you don't take showers every night, but you NEED to wash your face every night. It helps alot. Wash your nose thouroughly and I suggest a dove facial moisturizer wash, thats what works for me but only if I use it every night. Good luck!

Wut is the best make-up tips to make my face looks smooth n even skin tone lyk the celebrities as seen in mag?

i want to know how do celebrities apply the foundation without the face looking too powdery?Wut is the best make-up tips to make my face looks smooth n even skin tone lyk the celebrities as seen in mag?
I can tell you, as a fashion model, that there's not make-up that will make you look like that, because it's all brushed up. Don't waste your money trying to achieve that look; it's not real. I can give you a few tips, though: when photo shoots like the ones you see in magazines are done, powder is never used (in my experience), only liquid foundation. The foundation is always applied with cosmetic wedges (you can buy them in large packs at drug stores). Don't be afraid to use it unevenly (but blended in) over your face as needed.Wut is the best make-up tips to make my face looks smooth n even skin tone lyk the celebrities as seen in mag?
    try cream forms
wash your face thrice a day and for smoothness try a face pack of honey besan tomato and lemon apply it for 15 minutes and then wash it use honey daily for glow on your face
try mac or bobby brown foundation it works really nice... and also try applying your foundation w/ a foundation brush.... i use the one by mac that is carried in saks but im sure any type would work
Always put on a moisturizer before applying your makeup. It keeps the makeup from drying out your skin.
celeb's photos are air brushed for that flawless look. matching that look can not be done
good spelling is more attractive than makeup. why women want to look like clowns is beyond me.
use revlon colorstay ! it is smooth %26amp; stays on till you take it off ! i really like it ! good luck %26amp; happy new year !
I think primers do a fantastic job in keeping the makeup look great and natural. I love MAC primer for the eyes. It does wonders in making my eye makeup look great.
OK ,first, any one will look good with the right celebrity make up artist!

There is a product called 'Primer'; that needs to be applied prior to foundation and after moisturizer. This smooths out the skin and fills in the lines, etc. basically preps the skin for foundation. I sometimes just use the primer alone specially if i am in a hurry or don't want to fuss with foundation...

There are many brands of cosmetics that offer this item. Sometimes even a foundation will contain a primer for a dual action.

Also, keep in mind, you may not always need a foundation and powder on your skin both to have a better looking skin. Maybe one or the other but both may be too much for some people. The right shade and consistency of a foundation is also important. Consult with a make up artist if you get a chance.

Good nutrition is also essential. Drink plenty of water and try snacking on fruits not junk food.

Well for starters, yes the airbrushing is a big reason why celebs skin looks so great. BUT...

... there are other steps you can take to get that flawless look.

One, try different types and kinds of products. If you go to a department store even though the salesgal might give you the pinched annoyed look, ask to get color tested for foundation, powder, or type of coverage you feel comfortable with. When you're doing your shopping, leave it on and see how you a) feel about it and b) how it looks under different settings. Any decent counter girl will support you in trying to find the right match. Suggestions for department store cosmetics foundation/skin wise: Prescriptives will specifically create a blend of foundation and powder for your skin. MAC although they're great for most products, they're blends have higher amounts of talc in it, which may, depending on person, cause pore blockage (but I've had some good results from it). Clinque is also good-- especially their product that's a hybrid between powder and foundation, but that's a bit fuller coverage. Lancome has an amazing powder that has better coverage than most and can be used on it's own without foundation. Bobbi Brown has an amazing line as well.(Also, it's of note here... just because it's in a department store, doesn't mean it's better. You might want to try L'Oreal (after all they do own MAC, the Body Shop, Benefit, etc and are the largest cosmetic company in the world) or Revlon or MaxFactor, as well. And though you can't product test the way you can in department stores, believe it or not you can actually return it after you've tried it.

Two, proper skin care. The more products doesn't necessarily mean better for your skin. Generally you want to look at your skin while doing your normal routine and assess if it's working or if you still have trouble spots (e.g. blotchiness, acne, uneven skin, etc). Make sure to clean your face often. Don't go to bed with make up. Moisturize the right amount for your skin type. Use sunblock daily. Exfoliate every once in a while when you need it.

Three, a little bit of bronzer goes a long way. Not like Jennifer Lopez circa 2002 ish but just hit the points the sun hits... high points of cheekbones, a little forehead, etc.

Seriously though, in person celebrities do look like they have thick layers of powder. It's the only way for they're skin to look even and glow for photos and on tv. Like stage make up looks ridiculous in person but on stage it works.

    Good luck!

What are the make up tricks to make your face look thinner if you have a plump face?

Put the cookies down! What are the make up tricks to make your face look thinner if you have a plump face?
The fastest way to lose weight is to elevate your heart rate as many times and and as high as you can safely elevate it. Eat small portions of meals many times a day instead of really big portions only a few times a day. Jump rope rules. Anything running or sprinting will burn a super amount of calories, incomparable to weight lost just dieting.

http://www.jimmyr.com/lose_weight.phpWhat are the make up tricks to make your face look thinner if you have a plump face?
Go on a diet and exercise program if your face is plump because you are fat. If you just have a round or big face, I would suggest some sort of help for your self esteem. You are who you are. Accept it. Make-up only serves to hide your real face. How happy would you really be if those who found you attractive only did so because you did not look like you?
i have the same problem, this is how i deal with it. get a haircut that thins out your face, (the jennifer aniston) (yeah i know old but something like that) stay away from short hair and bangs it just makes it worst. use a bronzer on your cheekbones and on the outer sides of your face to make it appear as it recides. Uses a shimmer on the inner part to bring out the middle of your face. this kinda hides the roundness and brings out the midde. use a bright pastel for eyeshadow, this will bring the attention to your eyes instead of your whole face. also, curls like a slight wave adds wonders it hides alot of that roundness. try it out see how it works.
use a darker foundation aroound the outside of your face to make your face look thinner. if they can make marky mark look like he has abs on the calvin kline ad you can make your face look thinner.
get a haircut which makes your face look thinner . also you can got o either loreal or lakme and ask them for a pamphlet which could provide you with information fromth expertise.
    self tanner for the face.

eye shadow on the creases of the nose.
Get a haircut that frames your face.
I only have one more suggestion to add....a little blush under your chin will help hide the fullness of that area...dusting some on each side of the nose will make a wide nose look thinner too!

Do you wear the make-up base before put the foundation on your face?

and why do you wear it?Do you wear the make-up base before put the foundation on your face?
No. In the Summer, I wear a ';summer tan'; and in the off summer season (when my tan has faded), I wear a creamy (non-greasy) liquid make-up and lightly brushed on blush.Do you wear the make-up base before put the foundation on your face?
yeahh, it makes the foundation not look so cakey and plastered on.
Yes I do. but not all the time because its expensive and when I wear every days so it gone fast.

Which way to people tend to turn their face when making up a story?

Which way to people tend to turn their face when making up a story?

Left or right? Explain why?Which way to people tend to turn their face when making up a story?
Left to lie. The left side becomes more dominant when the right side of the brain is in control. The face turns toward that leftward dominance as it hurriedly activates. The right side of the brain tends to deal more in abstract thought- fictions or ';creative description';.Which way to people tend to turn their face when making up a story?
People tend to look left and up when making up details. It's like they're looking to the sky for help in thinking up a store.

They look down when trying to remember.

Also, people tend to add lots of details when they're lying in an attempt to make their story more real.
According to my psychology class people will turn their eyes upwards if they are remembering something, and left if they are making it up. I think i remember that 60 minutes episode too
I read somewhere that when people are lying, they tend to turn their eyes to the left. When they're being honest, they'll turn them to the right. It's subconcious so it's not like they even know they're doing it. I wouldn't assume every time someone's eyes go to the left that it means they're lying though.
People lean their heads to the right when making up a story/lying because the right side of the brain is where the creative sections are.
i didn't read it anywhere, or see it on TV... but i would assume LEFT.. because i look to the left when i'm lying... its my bad side.. :)
I cant tell you why anymore, but awhile ago i was watching this episode on 60 minutes, and the whole thing was about peoples body languange when they lie, and when people are lying thier EYES turn to the left....and/or their eyes will widen....

What can i do to make make-up last on my face?

i have quite an oily face and make up doesnt last for long...

and if i apply any make up .... i tend to have small pimples which disappear shortly..

what can i do??What can i do to make make-up last on my face?
Use a primer. The best one for me is mac prep and prime. 拢16. then use a liquid foundation oil free blend in properly the finish with a powder on top to set. plus always carry powder on you for touch ups. For lips you can buy everlast lipstick but they are drying. opt for gloss or lipstick and the longer you spend applying by lining your lips then colour them in with the pencil then add a maching of ligh gloss on top, then all you need is to keep applying gloss every few hours. xxWhat can i do to make make-up last on my face?
Do NOT use hairspray. It is not something that should be used near the eyes.

I have combo skin that gets oilier in the summer. I use an oil free moisturizer, Clean and Clear Dual Action Oil Free Moisturizer. After I put it on, I wait about 15 minutes before putting on foundation. I use Revlon Colorstay for normal/combo. After I put it on, I wait about 5 minutes then lightly powder my entire face including eyelids (the powder I use is Sally Hansen Cornsilk). then I apply the rest of my makeup and lightly powder again. When I do a touch up during the day, I use oil blotting papers then a light touch of powder.

Also, make sure your brushes are cleaned regularly otherwise you are building up oil on them which then transfers it to your face. Don't use the puffs that come with powder compacts unless you replace them once a week.
first you need to find a face wash that helps eliminate oil on the face's surface like nutrogeena oil free acne wash. Then get an oil free coverup. i use covergirl matte mouse and its great!. you can apply it to the whole face if needed and its not noticable or just the areas you are going to apply more makeup. For instance, eyes. First cover-up then shadow. The cove-up helps the shadow stick and not get creases. Same with bronzer or blush. As for thos small pimples, you may be somewhat allergic to some chemicals in certain make-ups and should see a dermetologist.

    Hope this helps!
Try using oil absorbing make up base and oil free make up.

Also I strongly recommend oil blotting paper. You don't have to keep applying foundation this way.
i like my make-up to last a little bit longer too

for foundation you can put a little bit of liquid foundation and quickly brush on some powder before the liquid really gets a chance to dry

for lips put a little bit of lipliner on before your lipstick/gloss

eyeshadow use a cotton tip to apply eyeshadow and put a very very small dap of water on the cotton dip before the eyeshadow it keeps it on longer and also brightens it up a little bit

blush if you have it use cream and then powder blush makes that stay longer

the only make-up i cant seem to get to stay longer it my eyeliner

but i just try to cover that up by putting a little liquid liner on my top lid so yeh..
best trick is to spray a little bit of hairspray on ur face...

just a weenie bit not to much...

First off it is important to have good self esteem and work from the inside out do things that build your self confidence. Two of prettiest women I ever met did work that built their self confidence that was not considered extremely feminine, one was a mechanic and the other was a Tai Kwan Do instructor. Eating a good diet and drinking plenty of water 8 eight ounce glasses a day will help you. Exercise regularily will help you, meditation will help you relax to decrease stress lines. Do things to make you feel good think good thoughts because it will show on your face. Be good say good things because people will remember what you are and how you are such that when they see you it will affect their perceptions of you. A good style that goes well with your face will help. Some of the prettiest women in the world are professional athletes and many do not wear lots of makeup. Makeup can enhance your looks but if you become too dependent upon it then it will affect your skin such that often it may look sallow or sickly when you do not wear it. Be sure if you wear it you clean and prepare your skin well to protect it before you put it on and after you take it off. Use a good UV protecting moisturizer for when you are out in the sun. I am a licensed cosmetologist and began wearing makeup heavily as a young teen to cover freckles. When I began running to help me quit smoking at age 22 I stopped wearing makeup constantly. I had makeup come out of my skin for 6 months onto my shirt I used for running and it stained it permanently. Though I took good care of my skin it is better to work from the inside out to enhance your looks. I look young for my age possibly because I stopped wearing very heavy makeup at age 22 and do not wear it at all because over use caused me to have severe allergies to makeup for a long time such that I am use to not wearing it. I really do not care too much about what I look like now because the hours I spent making myself look better on the outside are now spent doing things that make me happier on the inside now.

    Hope this helps you.

The advice from missflower is excellent -

what happens is smoking causes vasoconstriction which closes up the minute blood vessels called capillaries in the skin and to other parts of the body such that nutrition, oxygen along with water is cut off to these parts of the body causing aging along with decreased toxin removal. She is so correct much of what she is discussing is related to massage which increases blood flow to those areas that are massaged thus stimulating blood flow with associated benefits. Also the other day when I was talking to someone about oily skin and acne a person mentioned to me that acne is associated with bacteria. Such that keeping the skin clean is important. Using a good pH balanced in the pH range of your skin cleanser is important. Using facial masks such as the oatmeal missflower suggested can help remove impurities and help stimulate blood flow. Clay masks help remove oil. There are a great many books and products out there to try and use. What works for one person may not work for another. A thinly sliced cucumber slices placed upon the face after cleansing can have an astringent affect. Long hair parted down the middle can emphasize the nose thus elongating it you may want to part to the side not have a part or part it slightly off the middle. Different styles can effect and enhance different face shapes. I really like all missflower and learned from her also. Thanks
Orange tones would look great for your skin color. use a concealer if your skin isn't doing too great. Also, clinique, frederic fekkai, 24/7, and neutrogena have great products.

    OFCOURSE NOT DEAR..HOWEVER U R ..U R BEAUTIFUL I'M SURE.

AS FAR MAKEUP IS CONCERNED APPLY A GUD FOUNDATION CREAM AND A COMPACT THAT 'LL DO. HERE R SOME NATURAL TIPS TO MAKE UR SKIN GLOW...

    EAT A WELL-BALANCED DIET:

To remain healthy, your skin needs a regular and well-balanced supply of nutrients. You may not need any supplements, provided you look after your skin and you are generally healthy. Try to eat at least five portions of fresh vegetables or fruits every day: this should be quite easy if you have three pieces of fruit as desserts or snacks, plus a salad or vegetable dish with two meals.

Bad skin is not generally caused by any one food, unless it is an allergic reaction, but particular foods can aggravate poor skin.

The myth that chocolate, sweets and other fatty and sugary foods cause spots is not entirely unfounded: an eating pattern high in these foods and low in fresh, vegetables and other constituents of a healthy diet means that your skin is unlikely to be getting all the nutrients it needs. Women who would rather eat a bar of chocolate or a bag of crisps than an orange, for example, may lack vitamin C. This can make your immune system less able to fight infections, including those on the skin-spots. In addition, women often eat more chocolate at times when they are feeling down, whether emotionally, hormonally or physically, which also has a negative effect on the skin. If you already have spots, a diet that is high in sugar or fat may make your system even more susceptible to bacterial infections, which may further aggravate spots and other skin conditions.

    DRINK PLENTY OF WATER:

In our society, where many of us have central heating and lead active lives, one of the commonest causes of tired-looking skin is dehydration, both on the surface and throughout the body. Aim to re-hydrate your body by drinking two to three litres ( four to five pints) of water a day.

This should ideally be taken as plain or lightly flavoured, unsweetened water and not tea, coffee or other caffeine-containing or sugary drinks.

CUT DOWN ON TEA AND COFFEE

Women who drink a lot of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cola-type drinks are more likely to have tired-looking skin and to suffer from conditions such as greasy skin and spots. This is because these drinks contain caffeine, which prevents your body from making good use of the vitamins and minerals from your food. Try to drink no more than three cups of coffee, tea or other caffeine containing drinks a day.

    KEEP YOUR ALCOHOL INTAKE LOW

Excessive alcohol intakes may lead to skin problems such as split veins. Try not to drink more than the recommended 21 units a week (a unit is the equivalent of a glass of wine, a standard measure of spirits or half a pint of beer, larger or cider of ordinary strength).

Some women have a skin allergy to some alcoholic drinks, which usually manifests itself as hives. Hives are little itchy red spots that appear under the surface of the skin and make it feel hot and sensitive; they are sometimes known as nettle rash. The most common allergic reaction is to Salicylates, substances that occur naturally in some foods, such as grapes, banana, beans, strawberries and other berry fruits. If you get, a rash after eating some of these foods, beers may affect you in the same way, since they are often high in Salicylates. Instead, choose wine, gin, vodka or whisky.

    TRY TO GIVE UP SMOKING

Nicotine does not help you keep a healthy skin. It attacks the blood vessels that feed the skin with nutrients and oxygen, as well as those that drain away the waste products from the skin. Your skin therefore becomes poor at ridding itself of unwanted substances and in severe cases also starts to lack oxygen.

Other substances produced by smoke can age the skin greatly and affect the nail beds and hair follicles, which nestle in the epidermis. If you want to have a youthful, healthy appearance, try to give up smoking.

After you cleanse your face, you should ';exfoliate.'; This is very much like the process of peeling an onion or removing tiles from a roof. Exfoliating is necessary for getting the blood flowing into the face, as well as for removing grime.

Take a packet of sugar (raw sugar works the best), add a couple drops of olive oil to create a spreading condition, then gently rub it into the creases of your face.

Open a packet of instant oatmeal, mix it with water and create a paste. Rub this mixture into your face, then rinse off the residue.

Suggestion: Use instant oatmeal on your face, while using the traditional ';old-fashioned'; oatmeal to exfoliate the entire body.

Rub sea salt (available in health food sotres) all over both your body and your face. You'll love its invigorating effects.
always apply make-up with a light touch. Over doing it can actually accentuate what you want to hide.
If you go to MaryKay.com you can type in all of that and it will tell you what foundations, colors, etc to use to beautify your face... check it out

How long does it take for aloe vera to clear up acne on your face and help make your skin better?

I have been using aloe vera on my face for about three days now because many people have used it to clear acne and help your skin and it has reduced my acne a little. I was wondering how long it takes until you see results on your skin? ThanksHow long does it take for aloe vera to clear up acne on your face and help make your skin better?
Aloe Vera does not get rid of acne. Aloe Vera is used as an anti-inflammatory product. If you have inflamed acne (the big red ones) then you can use Aloe Vera to soothe them. How long does it take for aloe vera to clear up acne on your face and help make your skin better?
It usually takes about 2 weeks for any new skin clearing product to start working, it will get worse before it gets better, because well I have no clue why it does that. Every single time I try something new it makes it worse before it gets better, tell me if it works out.

    Lindsey
I did it for about 2 weeks before I really saw results. When it starts to clear up, keep going though. I stopped for a bit and then it just gets bad again. So stick with it and in about a month you will see real results!
I've never heard of aloe clearing up acne. You'd think it would do the opposite.

How would you cover scars in your face using just make-up?

The most important thing is getting the right color. If marks are blue you should use a yellow based tint, if red use green based. Make sure to get foundation that matches your skin. If you see a line at your jaw line, it doesn't match. Cover a colored scar by dabbing foundation on the area with a makeup sponge. Follow by applying a loose powder. Concelar and at night use ScarZone lotion
It may take a bit of skill but you can do it. Before I start I want to mention There is a make up that does this at high end cosmetic counters. But, if you want a tip from an experienced esthetics's techniques I will help you as much as I can w/o seeing the scar(s) in person.

Basically light colors will bring up the bottom surface of th scar.

Using a heavier type of concealer (any brand), before apply foundation. Match 2 shades of color the closest to your skin tone. There are no ethic boundaries. Any clear loose powder will be needed to dust the area your working on.

Darker colors will indent (make deeper).

So, use a thin brush and dab the inside part of the scar with the lighter color. Then wipe the brush off, and use a shade darker and dab this on the surrounding part of the scar. Then apply your regular foundation make up. Gently pat your foundation on, taking care not to rub the art work you just applied to the scar area.

Lastly dust the scar area with loose powder. It may seem light at first but let it rest a few minutes, apply your eye makeup or blush while waiting.

    Viola. It's like magic.

The technique sounds time consuming but, it won't take that long after you get use to doing this.

You may have to play around with the concealer colors. Also, on the back of your hand you can mix the 2 colors with your brush to customize your perfect color.
    Get Origins concealers
Mineral makeup works very well for this. My friend uses Bare Essentials to cover up a red birthmark.
use a good concealer first, then foundation over that http://www.marykay.com/s_azad/default.as鈥?/a>
get a cover makeup for scars and blimishes
Start with a daily routine, wash your face with a gentle facial cleanser, use an astringent, followed by a moisturizer. Use one with sunscreen since tanning a scare will only worsen it. Also use a moisturizer with vitamin E since it will promote healing. Then you will need cover-up stick, base/foundation and press powder in a color that is slightly darker then your natural shade. Dot the cover-up stick over the effected areas and lightly blend into the skin. I find a foundation brush very effective, but you can use a sponge or even you fingers. Then dot your face with the foundation blending over and around the area with the scar. Finish off by dusting a light covering of press power over the entire face and throat
Use a great concealer, maybe one that's one shade lighter than your skin tone (so that it off-sets the dark), and then apply your foundation.
get concealer that maches the color af your skin tone

What's your daily face routine? (Ex. day and night face wash & make up)?

What products do you think work well? (I am 21...I want to say that i have acne prone skin...but i usually get a few pimples every now and then)

I am looking to switch....or re arrange my daily face regimen as it seems that its not doing much to my face...but probably making me break out

i use clean and clear products....(primarily deep clean foam cleanser, day moisturizer with spf and night moisturizer...i have the astrigent...but i came to the conclusion that it DOES help with the pimples resurfacing BUT it also leaves scars)

I also might be breaking out because of my make up (i don't wear make-up everyday....i'd say about 4 out of the 7 days on a regular week, and i dont wear tons of it...usually foundation as my spot concealer, some pressed powder, maybe blush...and eyeliner...but i am thinking about expanding it lol and doing the real thing

but it all depends how i am feeling...where i am going..you know lol

also, i am thinking about trying out organic make up Physician's Formula (I want to throw out all of my ';old'; make up as this may be causing me to break out more frequently)...but I don't think I am hearing too good of reviews for them

I am light/Medium skinned tone and their products seems to be for more fairer/lighter skin...

anyway, i would like to read some of what other people use...and their experience with it

thanks =]What's your daily face routine? (Ex. day and night face wash %26amp; make up)?
I am around your age and also have skin issues...I've found that when I stopped trying so hard to get rid of everything, it clears itself up. I'm currently using Neutrogena products morning and night. My makeup is Bare Escentuals mineral foundation, and it is fantastic, it covers yet doesn't clog my pores and cause more breakouts. I have light skin also, and it makes my face look more natural than other foundations.

Another product I use when I've got a breakout is Yuva Active Clearing Gel.What's your daily face routine? (Ex. day and night face wash %26amp; make up)?
Every day I wash my face with Clean and Clear foamy acne wash (the purple one), then I apply benzoyl peroxide liquid from acne free, when that is dry, I use Wet n Wild concealer over my face and top it off with covergirl pressed powder and wet n wild silk finish blush.
Well, face wash I use neutrogena(if that's how u spell it) the foaming clenser, witch hazel for toner and this face moisturiser my uncle buys for my mum. Is pretty good, it smoothen out my sking and gotton rid of the scars on my face.a aahhah

    Day time make-up

Natio face cream, then a wait for a while and put sunscreen on.

I use MAC studio tech (just abit) as concealer,

Then Natio mineral loose powder foundation, the dustit off with MAC blotting powder

    A bit of MAC blushcreme,

Clinique brown eyeshadow (I don't know the name)

Lip balm and I just curl my eye lash.

    Takes like 10min max.

    Night time

    Moisturise using the same thing,

MAC studio tech and studio fix fluid. (As foundation and concealer)

MAC blotting powder, the MAC blush creme,

I then use revlon beyond cream eye shadow, MAC fluidline for my top eye lid and their eye kohl for my bottom. I then use the MAC carbon eyeshadow to help smudge it and make the eyeliner last longer. Currently using Napoleon perdis mascara.....not that good ahaha, lipbalm and I'm off, takes about a good 30min max.
Well, I'm 15 and I'm Asian, but tanned since my parents immigrated from Cambodia, and to be honest, my skin's not that great!

On average, I use pro-active with the refining mask (it works for me surprisingly!) once if my day isn't that busy or twice if i felt like its been a long day. The refining mask i use on my face twice a week for 10 minutes.

At night, if I see pimples appearing or its around ';that time of the month'; i dab the refining mask right on them and sleep and the next morning its close to or completely gone.

Redoing the routine over again, i also use a clean and clear face moisturizer for my face lotion and it works great, if I put it on every now and then to re-moisturize my face, it keeps it smooth and doesn't interfere with the pro-active cleansing routine.

I keep a box of tea bags too along with the tea leaves we have and I put them in the refrigerator, not the freezer, and use them on my eyes at night for 30 minutes of sleeping (although when i wake up, they are obviously not on my eyes) so I go to sleep on my back (even though that induces snoring, which thank god, I don't snore).

But yeah, I'm around your tone of skin, so we need more ';demanding products'; Neutrogena works good too! Oh and with a cleanser (preferably with beads or pumice stone in them) and also an ELECTRIC toothbrush, just put some on it and scrub your face with the toothbrush, of course I have to reapply the cleanser on several times on the toothbrush, or put the cleanser on your face, smooth it around and then use the toothbrush to help clean it. It helps a lot!

Mineral powder and makeup that is light yet still has a good duration are good too. Sometimes they'll some with more money needed, but Sephora (their brand and the brands they host) and some drugstore brands are great (Covergirl!!!)

Don't wah your face too much,

    Don't be to stressed out,

    Make a good workout/yoga routine,

and this all can help you look great and feel good too!

Other than black eyeliner, black nail varnish and pale face, what other make up could be dark and gothic?

  • If my face is peeling, and I want to wear make-up to my graduation tommorow, Is it going to look bad??

Is there something I can do to make it look better??If my face is peeling, and I want to wear make-up to my graduation tommorow, Is it going to look bad??
First of all, scrubbing your face hard is NEVER good for your face. I am an esthetician, trust me.

I need to know why your face is peeling... If your face is peeling because its dry, a light exfoliant is okay to take the dead skin off. However, if your skin is peeling because its sun burned, do NOT exfoliate. It will only irritate it further and you will be stopping the cell turnover.

If you can afford it, go to a salon to getting a hydrating facial. Otherwise, try using a thick moisturizor. Try using an overnight face cream all over your face. They are always super rich.

:)If my face is peeling, and I want to wear make-up to my graduation tommorow, Is it going to look bad??
Do a mask before you go to bed, use aromatherapy essential oil sleep with you, so you can relax you body as well as you mentality, tomorrow you will have a fresh look, with pink lotion foundations on you face, pink lip gross, light blue color eyeshadow, this makeup is suitable for a teen graduate, sweets %26amp; smart, congratulations !!!!
Why is your face peeling? Sunburn? The only advice I can give you is to wash your face really good with a washcloth. Sometimes giving your face a good rub with a washcloth will help rub the dead skin off. After you are done, use a good lotion. Hope this helps! Congradulations!
make sure you exfoliate. get a mitt from wally mart or make a scrub with some sugar and water(or lotion).

scrub really hard and then moisturize well.

    it should help
exfoliate, then moisterize berfore putting on ANY makeup.
yes exfoliate! best thing to do with what is happening to you.

When can i start wearing make up again after i have been burned in the face?

i had an accident 3 weeks ago during easter.

my right arm, shoulder and face are 1st degree burns.

i have been using Mebo cream for the first two weeks now im

    using Exoderm for the scars.

i wanted to cover up the burn by using make up to prevent people from staring at me in the malls (its not everyday you see a bald chick with ugly scars in the face)

and also, any has anyone got any tips for hair growth? my hair had to be shaved off. When can i start wearing make up again after i have been burned in the face?
When the skin has fully healed you can start wearing makeupWhen can i start wearing make up again after i have been burned in the face?
You should DEFINITELY ask a dermatologist about this one. They will direct you to specific brands of makeup that won't harm your very sensitive skin, and tell you exactly when you can start using it. DO NOT take anyone else's word for it if they say something is gentle or they know someone who went through the same thing. Everybody's skin is different, and when it's such a sensitive situation, be sure to get first-hand advice from a doctor.
I'm so sorry for you :'( But I suggest you wait for the burns to be fully healed before you put anything on... makeup can bring the nastiest bacteria...

As for hair growth, you're young, it will grow back fast, I guarantee you :) You can wear nice hats while waiting... or even wigs if you like :)

What is the best thing my teen daughter can wash her face with that will take off make up and help with achne?

When I was having that issue when I was in my teens I used Noxzema to take off my makeup and wash my face. I followed by using AVON Clearasil astringent and 10% benzoyl peroxide cream. It worked wonders~What is the best thing my teen daughter can wash her face with that will take off make up and help with achne?
biore treatments, maybelline makeup remover, and Proactiv. cheers : )What is the best thing my teen daughter can wash her face with that will take off make up and help with achne?
my kids tried a lot of cleansers, they have good results using my ';purity'; face wash by philosophy. it is very gentle, and washes off all make-up, even mascara. they also carry a special skin care line for acne, it works pretty well. it is sold at sephora, qvc, or online at the philosophy website
my youngest changed her diet to help with her acne and began to drink lots more water.. but witch hazel helps as well.
The Proactive System works very, very well. However, I would suggest that she evaluate what she's eating and drinking (junk food???). Studies have shown that a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and veggies, along with hydration by water is integral to healthy skin!!!!
Neutrigina its been reccomended by me!
    clearasil face scrub
It may be the makeup or cleansing products that is making her breakout. A dermotogist can usually tell you what ingrediants to avoid. The makeup foundation should be a water base and use loose powders only (not a compact). Avoid using fingers to apply makeup and instead buy makeup applicator sponges. Basis soap or Purpose are really good for acne prone skin. Oxy is also good to treat breakouts.

Does Cetaphil clean make-up off my face?

I use cetaphil for dry/sensitive skin because I have acne and redness, but my skin is also dry. It's pretty good so far, but the only problem I have with it is that sometimes after a long day with my make-up on (I wear bare minerals foundation powder), my face accumulates dirt and oil etc. Is it deep cleaning and does it remove my foundation and the sunblock I use with it? Does Cetaphil clean make-up off my face?
I use the same one as well. And yeah it does remove dirt and make-up. If you use it like twice a day, it deep cleans to remove dirt, oil, and make-up. This way you won't have any acne.

What is better a girl with natural hair & face/nails or a girl with dyed hair, make-up & nails done.?

Natural girls vs. Done-up girls. What's more attractive to men, a girl with healthy natural hair %26amp; natural skin with minimal make-up, clean cut. Or a girl with expensive done-up hair, dyed, %26amp; styled with make-up(the works-foundation/eyeliner/mascara/lipsti鈥?etc....) %26amp; fake tan, fake nails, fake everything....What is better a girl with natural hair %26amp; face/nails or a girl with dyed hair, make-up %26amp; nails done.?
    It's personal preference, really.

Some guys LOVE the natural look, and other guys prefer the fake everything.

How much you let this concern you really depends on how interested you are in having a guy that is attracted to you for how you look as compared to someone that wants you to look like every other bleach blonde, makeup covered thing that walks around in a miniskirt.

Someone that needs for you to look a certain way to please them usually needs you to act a certain way, as well. If you're okay with parading around as 'trophy wife' then more power to you. I prefer au natural. :DWhat is better a girl with natural hair %26amp; face/nails or a girl with dyed hair, make-up %26amp; nails done.?
Well, it depends on the guy.

Around middle school it's most likey a guy is to fall for a fake.

But I personally don't like that act...

I understand people thinks they're ugly but they will become ugiler if they continue using makeup in the near future... unless they're using something healthy. Report Abuse

It depends on the guy. I like to be done up or dolled up as they say, but not too much. It looks like the girl is too high maintenance if they over do it to a guy's point of view- A lot of guys tell me this. It tells them they spend hours in the bathroom on their appearance. Which drives them crazy if they have to wait that long. Guys hate the idea of girls spending that much time to get ready is a turn off and that much make up caked on as well-is the girl hiding something?

Me personally as I mentioned, I will do the natural with minimal everything. Yet, then there are occasional days I will do the expensive look, just for fun and to be a tease!
Wow. We really need to embrace our differences. I switch it up all the time and enjoy going back and forth. I'm never simply one or the other. There are pros for both. While I think the ';done up'; girl exudes sexiness, I think that the natural girls has a nurturing sensuality about her. I change it up like my underwear!
i'd say natural and u can always paint your nails..ppl dont relly thing you are ';fake'; if you hav ur nails done because thats just hygene to have them neat and presentable

for hair...unless you 100% hate your hair...DONT DO IT because if anyone ever compliments your hair, you hav no pride to say its ur natural hair ..but for face i dont usually wear makeup ..sometimes a little mascara to highlight my eyes and features but unless its a special occasion or girls night out or something

    stick with natural

    especially to guys...less is better

    hope it helped =)
Natural. I'm a girl, and in my opinion, cause I have many guy friends, they all like natural with a little makeup to enhance their face. They think that those girls who spend like $10000 on their hair and makeup look too fake. But then again, they take personality into account too.
to be honest the natural look some boys dont like all that fake stuff i know my boyfriend dont. people just dotn know how to be their self. another thing nothing is wrong with the fake look but it all depends on how u carry yourself, if u r going to do the fake look pleaseeeeeee make it look like something!!!!!
    1. I kind of like dyed hair and stuff, but natural hair can be pretty too

    2. I do not like artificial nails, natural is best here.

    3. I like simple make up, escpecially around the eye.

    4. No, i never like a fake tan
well guys dont like fake beauty and most will even notice if a girl is wearing to much mascara and crap like that which is actually disgusting because they all look like cheap hoes. But a girl should still wear some makeup to cover some of those smaller imperfections:)
A girl who is perfectly natural but knows how to add some lip color and foundation but not over do it seeming fake.

I think natural girls with the natural skin and hair will be known as eternal beauties not temporary ';hotties'; to guys (no homo)
Well it depends on how the girl looks with no makeup or anything. Its hard to answer this question with out pictures. Some girls looks great natural, and some look even better with all that stuff, so there really is no definitve answer.
brunettes i think are absolutely beautiful. no tan, no revealing clothing skirts, but just simple. although, clean nails and style is a absolute plus.
Depends on the guy. Every guy finds something different attractive. Be what feels good to you and the right guy will come along for you one day.
Natural is better. The guy doesn't want to be scared (or worse, not recognize you) if you happen to go swimming and all the fake crap washes off.
    different guys have different views..

some are into the fake artificial look and others are in to the natural.. it just depends on the guy
a mix, i hate it when girls wear pounds of unnecessary make up but i like it when they wear eye make up. i prefer creamy white skin over the fake tan.
of course natural is 'healthier' dye and acrylic nails can cause damage but its how a g girl feels about herself.
I'm a girl but I I love the done up look! The faker the better!
im not a guy, but i think that they like a little of both. well atleast i hope they do.
The one that is fun to be with.......

I have SLE Lupus, and am looking for a make-up that will cover my redness in my face, and has to be able to be sweat proof, and still be light enought for me,without looking made-up if possible.Looking for advice about redness on face, and make-up,?
To counteract redness, you should use a yellow-based concealer and apply it only to the reddened areas of your face. Then stipple the outer edges with your fingertips and gently blend into skin. Finish by stippling foundation over the area so it will match your skin tone exactly.

(Stippling is a blending technique used for concealers and foundations. It is a patting motion, usually done with fingertips or sponge. Place some product, foundation for example, on your fingertips or sponge and apply in a gently patting motion so as not to disturb or erase the product you've applied underneath, such as concealer.)Looking for advice about redness on face, and make-up,?

What sort of concealer or make up do you use to cover up spots on your face?

like what sort of concealer or makeup do u use to reduce the appearance of spots on a dark girls face and do they really work. and also my friend has got insect bite spots on her hands and she wants to use skin lightneron the area. is that ok?What sort of concealer or make up do you use to cover up spots on your face?
Definately Use Boi-ing By Benefit! You can buy this in house of frasier in bluewater or Selfrigdes in London. If you don't live in this area then go on www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk and there's a list of stores in this country and find the store near you. What sort of concealer or make up do you use to cover up spots on your face?
i don,t..it only makes them worse
Bare Minnerals is realy good it covers up everything
the best thing to use is dior flash..its amazing...a concealer and foundation..just spray it on and it covers all imperfections!!
bobbi brown does a great range for dark skins and her products are found in most department stores. i wouldnt ever use lightener on any bite or spot this will irritate her skin even more possibly leading to infection. think the lightener will also advise no to use on broken skin which is exactly what a spot is
clean and clear has this spot conceler that is really great for all skin types. you can find it at walmart in the face wash section. andit has medicine so it fights the pimple while you cover it. good luck!!
i work for a cosmetic house and without a consultation its difficult to give advice. but in general

dark circles - light relecting/diffusing concealer

blemishes - medium coverage, doesnt have to be light diffusing but you could use that or a long-lasting one.
    Clinique is a good one
Try to find something that matches your skin tone so it is less noticeable. Bare minerals is good, but there are other good ones out there. Experiment! Who knows what you'll find!
try MAC their cosmetic line is soo good you should be able to find something really good there!!!
I always use loriel, because of my sensitive skin, i use what looks the lightest! Good luck!!
bobbi brown has the best concealer in my opinion. It really covers up well, and looks natural. I have sensitive skin, and it hasnt irritated me ever, even when a spot appears. You will find this in large department stored.

Make sure you apply it good, never smudge/swipe it on, make sure you just dab lightly with your finger tip on and around the spot.

Your friend should just put insect cream on it which you can get in pahrmacies or boots/superdrug. Skin lightner will just irritate it and make it worse. It will take longer to heal as well.

Can you make your face flatter or make it look flatter with make up? if so how?

Hi, i have a long face but my haircut hides that also by the chin and starting below my nose my face slightly begins to push out but you can only notice it if you take a good look at it, is their anyway to change this without surgery or to make it look flatter? Can you make your face flatter or make it look flatter with make up? if so how?
Wait... what do you want to make flatter?

And no, there's no way to make your 'face' flatter... I'd try contouring with different products, but I can't think of any good answer. Sorry...

    Enjoy it how it is!

BTW, adding darker and lighter shades on your face will just make you look 'hollow' so watch out!

No harm intended :)Can you make your face flatter or make it look flatter with make up? if so how?
well if its not noticeable i would say dint worry about it, however thinking about it,well, you can use make up to give your face more shape and contrast by darkening the spots where your face caves in and highlighting the higher places (like cheekbones, forehead, nose bridge etc)

therefore if you want to make your face seem flatter either dont use as much contrasting makeup on the bottom of your face or highlight the top of your face a littttle bit more then the bottom

Hey i have senior pics coming up and i got a cut on my face and i here make up can cover it up?

what kind of make up do i need to get? i have never used make up so i have no idea about make up. im assuming i need me skin tone so also how do i figure that out?Hey i have senior pics coming up and i got a cut on my face and i here make up can cover it up?
just go over it with a light concealer.

and then let it set and apply your skin tone colour foundation,

%26amp; it shouldn't look that noticeable.

hope i helped:)Hey i have senior pics coming up and i got a cut on my face and i here make up can cover it up?
first use neosporin on the cut.

get smashbox photo finish gel to give the skin an even layer. use it all over.

    depends on your sex.

if you're a woman or man then you have to decide how much makeup you want to wear.

if you're a man then just go ahead and find some cheap concealer(from the dollar store or wet n wild from walmart) to match your skintone and dab it on

if you're a woman get a good concealer(smashbox, cover girl, etc) to match your skintone, dab it on and do a full good matching foundation(smashbox, cover girl, etc) on your whole face. or depends on where the cut is, you can just cover it with your hair if its long enough
until you have the pictures taken, apply vitamin E or Neosporin to it twice a day. dpending on how big the cut is, you can use a concealer (liquid or powder) loreal works great.. and then foundation. if you are shopping at a store such as target, walmart , etc.. there should be a color finder in one of the iasles. its a clear plastic sheet with makeup colors on it..you place your hand underneath it and the one that disappears is your color.. if there isnt one, take someone with you that does wear makeup to help you..

if you go to a place like MAC they will match it for you.
well most of the time in stores you can ask someone for help or sometimes they have colorwheels to help you choose. and yes you can cover it almost completely with powder, foundation, and some highlighter depending where it is. it does take some patience though! if worst comes to worst, im sure since its a senior picture you can get it shopped out. good luck!

    (:
    1) concealer. the color issue can be resolved by going to like, mac or macys or the makeup counter somewhere and asking for help finding your tone.

    2) they retouch the photos.
usually the makeup section will have swatches

that will help you determine your skin tone

use that to pick a concealer and maybe foundation
u should use either blush or concealer. but use it all over ur face so that it looks natural. also u may want to try some neosporn first so that it can heal the cut more

Make up 'Melting' off my face half way through the day?

I use Maybelline Pure Make up foundation (no oil, contains water) it feels really good when i first put it on but then it sort of melts of half way through the day and goes oily and provides nearly no coverage :(

Mum thought i needed to change Moisturiser but i have experimented with no moisturiser on and it still happens!

I read some where to use 'primer' or a 'base'. Will this help?

Does anyone know of any good Primers?

I really dont want to stop using this foundation coz it is really good!

    Thank you!

Ill give you a cookie..Make up 'Melting' off my face half way through the day?
    Easy, Models, Performers, Actors and any one who works on television knows this easy trick working under hot studio or spot lights. Have you got a can of hairspray ? After you apply your make up close your eyes and give your face a quick spray all over. ';Girls this works all the time !';

PS, I love ';Tim Tams'; lolMake up 'Melting' off my face half way through the day?
Try using a primer first instead of a moisturizer. Smashbox has an amazing line of photo finish primers. After applying your makeup, use a setting powder. Bare Escentuals makes some great setting powders. This will help the makeup stay in place.
hehe I just answered a question like this...

But what I recommend is putting on powder RIGHT after you put on your foundation, so that it sets properly... And put on powder numerous times during the day..

You might also consider using a different foundation that's meant for oily skin. It also might just be for this time of year too, since it's rather warm ;P But putting on powder during the day should fix that fairly easily. Just make sure that you use a brush instead of those fluff pads that they put in pressed powders, since that will rub your foundation off, which kind of defeats the purpose :P
well i had that problem too,but if you use powder on your face after you put your foundation on it will last soo much longer thats what i have found, hope this helps clairex
It is probably ';melting'; off due to oily skin, addressing that may help you significantly.

Never stop using a moisturizer, it actually helps, I know it sounds impossible, but it does and your skin will thank you for the continued use. After cleansing, always use a toner and a moisturizer, try one for oily skin. Witch Hazel is an excellent, inexpensive toner.

Also, I know you love this make up, but do try the all mineral powder make ups, they are actually good for your skin. Buy quality though so the product isn't full of fillers. I like Bare Minerals and I trust it.

The link below tells much more about mineral makeup.

I hope that I have helped you.
whatever you do do not apply owder right after it looks gross and cakes on but as far as primers go smashbox has a great one! but that might be a lil pricey but you said provides no coverage so do you have pimple prone skin? if so maybe you should be using concealer for individual coverage and not foundation

  • How do clowns register their make-up/faces?

I'm sure I read somewhere that clowns have to paint their makeup/face onto an egg shell in order to register their unique appearance, and that all the egg shells are stored in a clown museum somewhere, is this true or have I gone mad?How do clowns register their make-up/faces?
I heard this too.... Quite some time ago though. But you just jogged my memory. Good question and I'm keeping an eye on your answers. I'm sure the clown faces have some sort of copyright. But the painting on eggs might be a myth !! Hope not, sounds like something we want to believe is true !!How do clowns register their make-up/faces?
that crap makes no sense sorry man but uve gone mad
    Slight misquote there...

    ';You've got to ask yourself one question...Do I feel lucky?...Well, do ya punk?';

Honestly don't know about the egg theory - it certainly would be one way of registering the unique appearance of each individual clown. They do indeed have a Code of Practice, which stipulates no two faces, clothes (appearance) or even jokes and names are the same...Boy, imagine becoming a clown and having to do your homework on checking that nobody has painted their face the way you want to!
You Don't Have to Avatar!....if you should see another clown with your ';gettup';...smite him...put a gun in his face and say

';Well do you feel lucky...punk...well.do ya?';..just be sure it's one that has a flag that pops out that states...YOUR STEPPING ON MY CLOUD!!..GET OFF!!!!...bozo's trademark is already taken!...may you find peace and fortune in the world of the clowns....

Some steroid allergy medications make your face plump up because of the water weight. But other than that that's the only thing I can think of.

saves money on makeup removal, and it works magic.Beauty tips? about anything. make-up, face, nails, hair and such things as that?
I mostly ignore being pretty and people think I'm pretty. It's one of those thing. I dunno.

Stress over it less and you'll get rid of a lot of wrinkles to come.Beauty tips? about anything. make-up, face, nails, hair and such things as that?
I keep all my beauty tips in the source, check it out and there should be loads of information.
This is a really broad question.

If you are young and are just starting out wearing make-up- I would go to a department store and schedule an appointment at the make-up counter.

I went to the Clinque counter and did this with my grandma when I turned 13. I took a friend's daughter when she turned 13 for her birthday present because she had questions.)

If you can go to the counter with an adult- I think they treat you a bit nicer. but that is just my opinion about most adults towards teens.

Anyway, you dont have to buy all the products they put on you, but you should come prepared to buy at least one.

As for my own beauty tips:

I like Great Lash Mascara and neutral shades for eyeshadow. and I use Maybelline eyeliner over my top lashes and under my bottom ones.

I use moisturizers with sunblock EVERY DAY.

I have fair skin and just use face powder instead of base.

For make- up removal- I use baby wipes. They are the best and very gentle.

For nails, I like the Sally Hansen clear for under and over color or sometimes just plain (like for job interviews.)

I keep my nails medium length- long enough to type comfortably. Some times I like to wear fun colors. :)

Hair- wash as often as your hairdresser suggests. When I was younger she said every day. As an adult, she says every other day- something about keeping the natural oils.

    I hope that helps you!

If i use a make-up remover, can i forego washing my face with a cleanser? or do i still need to wash my face?

I noticed that a facial cleanser is not enough to remove all of my make-up like mascara and eyeliner. My friend suggested make-up remover. After using the remover, i feel that my face is not yet clean. Is using a facial cleanser to wash my face too much after using the make-up remover? If i use a make-up remover, can i forego washing my face with a cleanser? or do i still need to wash my face?
use bothIf i use a make-up remover, can i forego washing my face with a cleanser? or do i still need to wash my face?
you should still wash your face to get rid of any excess oils that may still be on your face.

i use a make up remover first, and then i wash my face with noxema.

i pretty much only get pimples when its that time of the month, so i think my regimen works well :)
yes ur right, make wipes dont take all ur makeup off. they remove ur mascara and eyeshadow-stuff like that but i u wear foundation or heavier stuff it is better to use a facial wash which removes makeup and dirt also. this will prevent breakouts and stop pores from getting clogged.
Make up remover removes the make-up, usually it is oil %26amp; water emulsion. There' s oil left over. Use a gentle cleanser afterwards, like Nutrogena Liquid Cleanser.
i buy the daily facial wipes...removes all the makeup and cleans the face in one easy step.
after removing makeup, use a cleanser, exfoliate (every other day if your skin is sensitive), moisturize, and in the morning use SPF and at night restore.
You don't have to wash it afterwards with cleanser, I just recommend that you rinse it off.

Just splash your face with a little bit of water.
Wash your face. If you don't then imagine that all those chemicals are still on your face from the makeup remover and the remover may still contain some makeup dirt in it. If it's too much for you to wash your face at least splash water and pat it down.
well what i do is i use eye makeup remover and take off my eye make up first and then i wash my face with a makeup remover foam. and vola. you face should be washed to get the dirt from ur pores. even though some cleansers can do it. the water wil help.
No it shouldnt not unless it is a harsh facial cleanser such as noe that is very drying.

Use a cream fasical wash and it should be fine.

What kind of make up should I put on my face for picture day at school?

I have brown eyes, black hair, glasses, am asian(i can b tan and pale, depends) and i have a weird complexion. what kind of make up should i wear?

what color eye shadow? should my eye shadow match my shirt?

should I wear lip gloss? or just chapstick? maybe lipstick?

should I wear a pink or peach blush? should I wear blush at all?

do i need eye liner, or mascara?

    please help me!

P.S. I'm 13What kind of make up should I put on my face for picture day at school?
    Your 5 Step Photo Plan:

    1) Ok, first address the tone problem. Wear a light foundation and use concealer for any blemishes. Take off the glasses for the pic- they sometimes catch the light weird and hide your eyes with a big flash reflected off of them.

    2) Next, for the eyeshadow. You can go two ways: either really natural or pop-y. For natural, use a tan-ish brown and only apply a smidge over your crease. For a pop-y look, try a shimmery forest green and gray. Once again, a little past the crease, with green on the inside and gray on the outside. Your eyes will totally pop on your warm skin! DON'T match your eyeshadow to your shirt- you'll look like a clown! Not very pretty.

    3) For lips, try either a tinted lip balm or a mandarin orange, depending on your shirt. You can decide for yourself. If you go with the bold eye, you just want the Chapstick.

    4) Find your shade of blush first. Pinch your cheeks twice and look in the mirror. Whatever that color it is, that's your natural blush color. Buy this shade.

    5) If you want to enhance your eyes, use eyeliner or mascara. The best way to go is one or the other, or your eyes will look really small. Use curling mascara if your eyelashes stick out straight, and use eye-liner if you want to define the eye. For either liner or mascara, you should use brown-black. Black will look too harsh on your skin, and brown will disappear.

Hope I helped (and the picture will turn out great!) -KWhat kind of make up should I put on my face for picture day at school?
Ugh ya I'm nervous about my makeup for picture day, too. You should use a shade of purples or gray, black eyeliner, mascara, and a peachy pink blush would be pretty. I normally say use clear lipgloss, but if you want to use a colored one try a nude shade or something like that.
    Tone out your face first

That would fix the weird complexion.

Eyeshadow should be beige or a really shimmery white near your tear ducts to open up your eyes

Chapstick you don't want to look overdone. Plus chapstick is good for the lips.

Eyeliner maybe a little mascara not alot.
I think you would look great with this look for picture day, it would really enhance your eyes especially with the glasses =)

Not unless you're trying to be a Witch Smurf. :o)

I am thinking green....it worked in the Wizard of Oz
Green would be better, the wicked witch was green

I just got in a fight with my friend over a guy should i punch her in the face or make up?

You should make-up. Never let a guy come between you and a friend. Unless the guy is a better friend and if that's the case then have the other friend say sorry first either way don't punch her in the face because that never solves anything.I just got in a fight with my friend over a guy should i punch her in the face or make up?
What was the problem??? What you should do depends on what the original conflict was....

Once you provide more info, I wont be able to answer again since I've already responded, so I'll give you some insite..

You Both liked the same guy??? Let him decide...It's not up to you..

You were in a relationship with this guy and your friend moved in on it and he picked her? Let it go...They deserve eachother.....

She or you are in a relationship with a guy and you or her doesn't approve of him? Too bad....It's not the ';friends'; decision to make....

Quit being all cave-man about it....Why do all disputes have to come to blows?? That's EXTREMELY immature.....

If he hits her/you, then it's her/your decision to leave.....If he's cheating on her/you, then, once again, it's her/your decision to leave.....

    Bottom line....If she's really a friend...a true friend...you wouldn't be asking such a silly question.

This is Judge Judy situation if I've ever heard one....All of you need to grow up and make the right decisions..If you have a child and someone hurts them, then you can get aggressive.....The rest is piddley sh*t.......It sounds to me like you're a teenager, and if that is the case, then you need to understand that this situation is teenage stuff....Who cares????? It's really not that important.....If you were trully a lady, then you would never ask ';should I punch her in the face?'; And let me telll you, that no matter who you are, or where you're from, the only thing that is certain is that you are a female, and in being so you should be proud. You should be proud to be a lady....Quit acting like a dude...quit acting like a hard-a*s....It's very unatractive, and if you think differently, then I would like to see where you are in 5 years.....Hooked up with a hoosier who finds that trait attractive and goes out on the weekends to screw the other chicks JUST LIKE YOU who reside in the same hoosier part of town...

It's time to grow up Dear...I just got in a fight with my friend over a guy should i punch her in the face or make up?
Punching is always a no no. Punching is for immature drama loving girls. If shes a real friend to you, you should be trying to make up with her and just resolve this thing, so you both can move on already
book yourself on the jerry springer show so all your trailer trash family friends can see you. only they will think that's cool.

How do i put make up on to make my face(jawline)look more symmetrical?

half of my face looks slightly longer than the other side.so how do i put make up on and what do i shadow in to make it less noticeable?

thanksHow do i put make up on to make my face(jawline)look more symmetrical?
I'd have to see a picture to be specific with where to place your contour and/or highlight but there are two rules of thumb to follow:

    dark recedes

    light brings forward

With that in mind, take foundation that's roughly two shades darker than your regular foundation (or purchase a contouring creme/powder in the appropriate color) and apply in the area around your jawline that seems a big longer than the other. At the same time, you might try highlighting the other side to see if that helps to balance it out.

It's difficult to explain in writing but the concept of light and dark remains the same. Here's an excellent video that shows how light and dark can sculpt the face. Just apply the same principle to your jawline on the side that seems a bit longer. This artist even lists an email address where he can be contacted.

I am using an acne cream that I need to apply to my face 2x daily. Is it OK for me to put make-up on over it?

I have acne scars and I cannot go out the house without putting concealer on. The cream dries very quickly, is it OK to put concealer on over it? Should I use a mineral concealer?I am using an acne cream that I need to apply to my face 2x daily. Is it OK for me to put make-up on over it?
    1. Step 1

Wash your face with soap and water twice a day and immediately apply moisturizer. Washing your face more than twice a day can result in dry skin that can become flaky and cracked. Washing the proper amount helps remove unhealthy oils that prolong scarring.

    2. Step 2

Scrub your face at night with warm water and immediately wash with cold water. Warm water will open your pores. Cold water helps close pores, which in turn keeps oils out of your skin so your pimples and scars become healthy.

    3. Step 3

Apply vitamin E oil to your skin once a day. Vitamin E provides a natural oil that helps restore elasticity and regenerate skin cells. Applying more than once a day can leave your face oily and oversaturated.

    4. Step 4

Purchase scar removal cream from your local pharmacy. There are several over-the-counter options available that help erase scars. Ask the pharmacist for recommendations before you purchase a cream. Read the instructions carefully as some of these treatments contain chemicals and oils that may be harmful if used improperly

thanks bye tc ...I am using an acne cream that I need to apply to my face 2x daily. Is it OK for me to put make-up on over it?
It's fine as long as the make-up is mineral, and not liquid, and as long as you wait for the cream to dry first. Have you tried scar cream maybe? it will eliminate the need for concealer.

If you're saying you want to use it alone, yes you can. Or if you can use it with other products, yes you can do that too.

for oily skin I highly recommend formula 3 with Mary kay skin care. I recommend smokymountainminerals.com,for your face make up. it will help with the oil %26amp; doesn't have the fillers in it those on tv do. it does not have any mineral oil in it, which is not your friend if you're oily already. For almond shaped eyes-

    Do:

-Apply a dot of shimmery shadow (in a neutral shade right on the brow bone.

    Don't:

-Wear dark shadow and dark liner at the same time

-Line around your whole eye (too much liner will make them shrink)

    Eyes:

With your skin tone, you should try wearing a shimmery brown color, or greens, blues and purples.

I hope I helped =]What make up looks good on my face? (read details)?
dark blue eye shadows will make your eyes pop, use a medium shad all over, the lightest on your brow bones and the darkest shade on your crease/lid of your eyes, use black eye liner on top, black mascara. you can use nude lipstick or dark wine lipstick. clinique is a good brand of makeup to use, their powders are nice. I use the bare minerals and I like the stuff.
this sounds crazy, but purple looks really good on tan skin. i'm not much of an eyeshadow wearer, but a little color will really make your eyes pop!!
You should try Clinique makeup this will really look pretty on you type of skin they have foundation that will match your skin great. Try it
Try a light purple eye shadow...a little brown over the top...just a little of each though...and a brown/black mascara. If you have rosey cheeks and are tan, you are SOOO lucky. nothing needed there.

Q: I have been taking Vitamin A for my hair, skin and nails. I am worried that if I am pregnant I may have harmed my baby.

A: It is currently recommended that Vitamin A capsules should not be administered to pregnant women.

The recommended adult daily requirement for vitamin A from all sources is 2,500 IU. This is usually provided in the diet. Taking more than 2,500 IU a day as a supplement during pregnancy may cause birth defects. Some skin treatments contain vitamin A or related chemicals, known as retinols or retinoids. Although these treatments are usually creams applied to the surface of the skin, the vitamin A in them can cross into the blood stream.

It is most likely you have done no actual harm. However, until you can confirm whether you are pregnant or not, you should stop all of these treatments and discuss your concerns with your doctor.

You really don't need to worry at all about any theoretical problems caused by taking cod liver oil and the extra vitamin A, which it contains.

Reports highlighting the risk of vitamin A in pregnancy were based on no more than a handful of cases throughout the world and you would have to take a very high dose to cause any harm to your baby.

Provided your diet is well balanced and healthy, the only vitamin you should be taking is folic acid along with extra iron, if you are anaemic to any significant degree.

It is normal in pregnancy to worry about all sorts of things, but you can put this particular concern at the back of your mind now, and enjoy the next few months.

As long as the bottle doesnt have a warning not to use in pregnancy, then your fine. And just stay away from face wash that has a strong smell to it, specially is it has that alcohol smell!! You can still use any kind, just should be ingesting the smell too much!
