First, start off with a good moisturizer for your skin type that has SPF in it to protect your skin. It's important to protect your skin from the sun's damaging rays.





Then the next part would be to try regular foundation or tinted moisturizer. A tinted moisturizer would be recommended for summer because regular foundation tends to be too heavy and can turn cakey when you sweat. Just be sure to find one that matches your skin type so that it blends in well. Some good brands are Lancome, Benefit, Dior, Stila, Laura Mercier, Clinique, Bare Escentuals, Almay, and Revlon.





As for cheeks, regular blush applied lightly on the apples of your cheeks can create a light, rosy glow. Just be sure to apply a sheer application so that it looks natural. This is optional.





Also, many celebrities apply highlighter. Any make up with shimmer, such as eyeshadow or even specially made make up with shimmer, can be used to accentuate certain features of the eyes. They are commonly used on the brow bone, cheek and temple area, and the collar bones. These are the main places that reflect light. I, personally, like to use Physicians Formula Custom Bronzer, Blush, and Highlighter Palate in Natural Glow. It's a great bronzer and highlighter and it reflects light amazingly.





As for lips, try a nude lip if you choose to put a lot of emphasis on your eyes and a bold (rich, noticeable colors) lip if you are trying to emphasize your lips more.





With eyeshadows, the possibilities are endless. Just experiment with different colors and blend them well to create different looks. There are many different brands of eyeshadows with amazing colors. MAC has a good variety of colors to choose from as well as Coastal Scents.

First of all, the celebrities over do it. If there is one thing I learned in life it is not to follow celebrities. Everyone is beautiful inside and out 24/7. Second of all, if you feel the need to wear make up wear it lightly. I wear simple pink eyeshadow with a light touch of eyeliner. I also use mascara. To add highlight to your cheeks use some rose colored blush. Add a nice gloss to finish the sophisticated teenager look!
DON'T go for Bare Essentials thats a load of crap..its like glorified powder and it cakes and EVERYONE complains how it makes you look shiny after about an hour if you don't buy the Mineral veil which is another pff-30 dollars! Hate it.





i believe liquid with a light sweep of LOOSE powder looks the most natural..go for one that will suit your skin and learn how to blend blend blend it will take a little to get the hang of it.
