Will your face still tan if you wear make-up in a tanning bed?

mine seems to. My makeup has an SPF 15 in it, but, my face seems to still get tan. I think maybe the shimmer from the bronzer helps.

It probably won't very well because most foundations and powders nowadays have SPF built in to them (sunscreen). Also putting on sun-tanning lotion too thick will cause the bulb's light to be blocked from tanning you well, so I do suppose makeup will do the same thing. But if you like to wear a lot of make up and wash your face often, that will also cause you not to tan well on your face (the constant washing). i wear make up most of the time, this summer just gone my hole body was tanned except for my face (when i took my makeup off)

i wouldnt suggest wearin makeup,its prob best goin in with just moisturiser on,i go in wi moisturiser on and get a good effect;)
