I use a primer under my foundation and eyeshadow. MAC has a prep and prime skin, I love it! It makes my skin so soft and it makes my foundation and powder go on very smooth. For eyeshadow, the best primer is Urban Decays primer potion. Your eyeshadow will seriously not move.What are some tricks to make your face look clear ? and to make your make up last longer ?
wear ur own face.
first make sure you wash your face good b4 you put on any make up. if you dont you will have oily skin that can cause your make up to fade and make you look shiny. then use foundation all over your face or in the areas you need it. then use concealer for blemishes. to funish, dust translucent powder all over.

I use YSL and Dior makeup products. They are amazing. Dior actually has a foundation with acne fighting agents formulated into it. It lasts all day and doesnt smudge when you wipe your mouth with a napkin, know what I mean. And, they don't test on animals. YSL and Dior are a little more expensive, but you really get your moneys worth. A friend who just graduated beauty school and who is a makeup artist turned me onto them, so I hope they work as well for you as they do for me. And you can go to a department store where they sell YSL and Dior, and test the products out for yourself. A lot of times, they will give you trial size samples to take home and try. Enjoy!
the base is the most important thing really. if you apply a good foundation followed by face powder, this will have prepared the face for makeup.
if you have oily skin or perspire (in heat) then keep a face compact handy to blot off any shine.
