Best make up fix for a red face?

Is there a really great concealer or some other product that will even out my skin tone. Im already using a foundation but after a few hours the foundation wears off and the red shows through. Is there something that might neatralize redish/ pink skin tones???Best make up fix for a red face?
I have rosacea (redness) too and I use MAC Studiofix powder. It comes in a solid powder compact and had a sponge in it. You can start with a light coat and add more on the areas you need more coverage. I am really oily and this is the only makeup that has ever lasted me all day. I also use clean and clear oil absorbing sheets and then put a little bit of MAC Blotpowder (another compact with a solid powder that absorbs oil but leaves no makeupy color behind) and do that a few times a day to keep it looking fresh and non shiny.

Try this. I have the same thing as you and I love this makeup. I tried all the other brands and spent a ton of money but this one actually works and doesn't make you look like you have a ton of makeup on. You won't be disappointed.

You do not need to use anything green. It will look really unnatural if it starts melting off your face and by the sound of it your foundation tends to melt off your face. I tried green concelaers and foundations before and because I am oily htey would either melt off or melt off and change color when they mixed with my oil.Best make up fix for a red face?
I LOVE green concealer. Its exactly what u want to hide any red on your face. Always dab on concealer and blend the same way. Then I like to use a flesh colored concealer over the top, just to be sure. Get one as close to your skintone as possible. Lots of ppl go lighter, but it just draws attention to the spot by highlighting it. Then apply your foundation as usual, but I'd recommend using a sponge for the best coverage. Use a little translucent powder over the top for extra staying power.

Good luck!
Hi, I'm a makeup artist at Sephora and would be happy to address your concern. I use Laura Mercier. She is known for her ';flawless face'; line. There are 4 simple steps to achieve this look.

Step 1: Use Foundation Primer to smooth and prep the skin.

Step 2: Apply foundation. Choose the formula you like based on your skin type and the coverage that you want. To cover imperfections, I recommend a liquid foundation because it covers more. I would only wear this when I have many blemishes. On a daily basis I would wear a powder foundation.

Step 3: Apply concealer. Again, choose the formula you like based on your skin type and the coverage that you want.

Step 4: Use Loose Setting Powder. This will make the makeup last longer and adds a nice glow to your face.

I know you only wanted suggestions for concealer, but being so satisfied with my use of Laura Mercier and her products, I had to share my product knowledge with you so you can at least know about it. It would be wonderful if you tried it! =)

The Foundation Primer will also keep your makeup on all day. That's right, ALL DAY! Her Secret Camouflage works wonders! It hides all imperfections.

I hope this helped! Feel free to come in for a free consultation. Also, don't be afraid to ask for samples, everyone does. Good luck! =)
I have kerotosis which is I have tiny red bumps on my face.. They are NOT acne but, they are annoying.. It's basically dry skin and irritation to the environment! So, I have a reddish tone to my skin...

In the winter/fall months I use ORIGINS line of foundation. It makes my skin look flawless and it doesn't cost much! I've also found their moisturizers to be really good as well. I use CONSTANT COMFORTER which calms my skin down and minimizes the redness.

* I notice when I moisturize I use a lot less foundation...

*Powder helps keep the foundation in place

In the spring/summer I tan and the bumps disappear...

Good luck
to neutrilize the redness you need to add green. i know it sounds horrible, but you can get consealer sticks or sometimes powder bronzers with the different shade patches that have green in them, but it neutrilizes the red color.... look for them in your drugstore, i know the brand physicians formula sells them, but there is probably a better brand out there...

another thought is a primer for you fondation, they are supposed to help keep the makeup on better and longer.

hope it helps!
Before prom I went to the beach and neglected to put sunscreen on. My face was so burnt and so red! I read somewhere that anything green neutralizes the red. So I went down to Sephora and bought Make Up Forever's make up base in Green 1 and put my regular foundation over it. You could hardly tell that I was as red as a cherry in my prom pictures! No one noticed either.

Ok, at Clinique, they have a cream that calms the skin, it is actually for people with rosachia, a reddening skin condition, looks like a rash on the face. It works very well for red skin, and it helps your makeup to stay put also! Its great and lasts a LONG time. I love it.

You'll need green colour corrector :)

I use Physicians Formula green colour correcor, it comes in a cube.

Moisturize and pat it onto the red places, and hen apply your foundation as usual.
Any green conclealers will work because green cancels out red. I would suggest physicians formula which you can get pretty much anywhere...it works great
wear a foundation then a powder over it

I would suggest physicians formula
