Face and Make Up....?

Hiya...

I recently decided that i wanted to wear more make up and i went and got some foundation, the only problem i have is that i have really really bad dry skin on my forehead and around my nose, this make the foundation look as though ive had a tan and its badly peeling....

I normally scrub the area then put moisturiser on the areas and then add foundation but this makes orange patches show... :S

Can Anybody Help Me Treat this please because i really want to wear foundation...:)

THAAAAAAANNNK YYYOOOUUUUUUU !!!! xxFace and Make Up....?
For a start it sounds like its to dark for you. i wear fountain everyday

so if you are going to i would get a fountain for sensitive skin it does help alot! or natural make up will not make your skin worse, and make sure its the same colour as your skin not light not to dark, NOT to dark, you dont want to look like youve been tangoed do you ? it needs to look natural, but if i was you i wouldnt wear much as the way your skin is. just let it heal!

Good luck

Hope i helped (: xFace and Make Up....?
drink water.....dry skin is caused from a lack of moisture..so if you have dry skin it could mean your not hydrated. Water is the best answer..i promise
visit the following url
go without foundation for a wile and use a deep moisturiser until hte area clear up and then when you start wearing it moisturise at night, but if you use facen wash in the morning use moisturiser after then aswell
Hey, if you dont need it i would recomend u not to wear it although i love my foundation too. Firstly i would suggest that u stop scrubbing your face as this can be a bad thing and also makes the skin very dry. put something greasy on your face the night before like vaseline or even baby oil gel. your face should be soft in the morning, iv been to the doctors for my dry skin before and she suggested to use vaseline. Make sure before u apply your foundation u use moisturiser, u may want to invest in some skincare products from somewhere like clinique or u could just ask whats best for your skin type in boots. =) x x
don't scrub, wearing moisturizer then foundation may help prevent the dry areas but the best thing you can do is make sure each night you take off all the make up and apply moisturizer....if so it should clear up in no time then wearing foundation should be easier.

Good Luck
don't scrub your face, it'll make it worse, just apply moisturiser every night

you could also use pressed powder to even out your foundation after you've applied it
you'll have to sort out the dry skin first, b4 u can put on any foundation.

so just keep moisturising it until the dry skin goes away

but u cld try using like powder foundation coz it might not show up so badly on the dry patches.. :S

gd luck!!
If your skin isn't too sensitive to breaking out, a clear lipgloss under your foundation will keep dry skin from re-appearing.
