I heard that your suppose, to use only warm or luke warm or neutral warm water to wash your face, and not cold...is it because warm water closes the pores?? and cold leaves them open? can someone explain that?...../ and I love Natural make up and we all know that brown is the perfect candidate for a natural looking face...but is there any other color that you could use besides brown and it would still look natural? thanks for all the help everyone! Washing my face??/Natural Make-Up?
Actually it's warm water because hot water makes the pores open wider. And then before your done washing your fach splash it with cold water to close the pores :)
I hate that bare minerals crap. It makes me look like a cake. the lady at the store couldent even make me look natural with it. She could only use their eyeshadows the foundation made me look terrible.
EDIT: oh you meant like natural looking face xP Well golds that dont have too much shine or if you like shine tons of it are naturally pretty. [Like M.A.C. all that glitters or Stilla kitten eyeshadows.] Light peachey pinks, browns, light browns, and brown mascara take on a more natural look.Washing my face??/Natural Make-Up?
Hey hun.
It is the other way around. The warm water will open your pores and cold will close them. The best thing to do is wash your face really well with warm (so the cleanser can get into your pores, and because it feels nicer) and then rinse with cold water to make sure you close them up again.
Always make sure to use a clean towel too.
Also, brown is a lovely color that can be played around with in so many ways! but cream colors are also lovely (which are still brownish but a white)
I would stick with brown :-) Another get way to play around and still look natural is colors that bring out your eyes. From your display it looks like you have green eyes, so brown and pink together would look awesome!
I hope this helps :)
Other way around (sort of).. you start with warm, because warm OPENS the pores, and lets you clean all the sweat and goo and whatever else is in there, out. THEN you splash cold water on your face, because cold CLOSES the pores (for awhile), and stops so much oil and stuff getting in there. You want to leave your pores closed when your done, and cold water is the way to do that.
(I'm not too good with makeup colors so I will just leave that one for the experts)
Erm. It's actually quite the opposite. Warmth opens your pores while cold closes them. Which is a good thing when taking showers. If you take cold showers, it closes your pores and keeps you from absorbing all the bad substances that may be in your water. (My tap water is high in certain things that I don't want in me.)
you wash your face with lukewarm water (opens pores) and then rinse with cold water (closes pores).
the most natural makeup are neutral colors.. browns, pinks..
Warm water opens pores, cold closes them.
for natural makeup you should use earth tones (green, brown, etc)
